I've seen one displayed in the flagship Nokia Shop in Hong Kong. Usually that means it's comin' out in 3 months time. Can't wait!

Hey! I'm not lying to you people!
Everybody i've asked for this phone told me the same thing!
when i'm back from vacation, i'll know, i think, exactely when it will come out!
*Now, it's hard to say exactly... So, wait!
I think you can wait with your phone until you can get it, no??
And... here in France, we're back to school at the begining of september, so the new cells and all the new collections of "everything" come out at that moment!
If it doesn't come out in september, if not, it's in October!
BUT, i'm not sure, so i'll tell you later....

To be sure people are not going for other brands they can anounce products (1 or 2) year before release ;-)

Nokia announces its models so long before lauch, simply because they want you to wait for it and not buy another phone from another brand. Simply as that....So when it said 3rd trimester Nokia usually means mid or end 4th trimester !

Yeah, I do have to agree with you Don.
If an Oct. release is true, why even bother to announce it 6 months before it's released?
Usually 3 months is the standard waiting period.
C'mon Nokia, let's have it already.

Hey people!
I went to the downtown and to many mobile shop wich some are friends of mine and they told this phone is to be realeased in France around September... If there is daly, Ocotber!
So as for my "hapiness " about this phone , i can tell you i've been looking the this phone for a long , long time... I'm really excisted and cannot wait to get it!
I do want to buy it, of course!
I'll leave a comment as soon as it comes out, don't worry, i won't forget!

I live in Omaha, Nebraska, in the US. And t o answer your question, we can still buy phones that aren't released here through several different websites. Not to mention that they will be all over Ebay when released.
I ONLY buy my phones that are unbranded & unlocked, or SIM free anyway. I don't like Carrier mobiles.

If N95 is not perfect then 6500 is not for sure ;-)

Does it give an exact date of the Slider release? I will buy one form overseas if I can get it. Keep your eye out for it's release. You guys in Europe will get it first.
That is the thing I hate about the United States.....we always have to wait to get the cool phones.

I know Marvin you were so curious to count some cons and I do know next phone may have 7 MP camera but this one is still perfect.
In other words if you count the cons of all phones till know this one has minimum cons.
This one is called "PERFECT PRINCIPLE" due to "MINIMALIST CONS CONCEPT"...
I'm burning so much brain on this forum without being paied ;-(

I can tell you the n95 is not prfect!
the gps is very slow, some bugs heppen due to the slide, and the apn is slow too...
So, maybe there is no phone perfect!
...
Well, i can't wait this phone to come out!
