Nice but still consider "thick" compare with Korea brand mobile phone.

This will be great as a second phone. So I will probably buy it. I'm wondering whether the browser is the same as the wonderful N-series. There is no WLAN which is a pity but I guess that is one of the fundamental differences between N-series and series40. It's interesting how microSD cards are superceding miniSD although the latter has a faster writing speed.

nice phone...overall its a featured packed phone in small dimension.
the only cons is -- it is a series40 (too bad)

This is one of the most amzing and advanced mobile phones yet!
                        Pros:
3.2 megapixel camera (Carl Z. lens) Autofocus+Dual LED Flash

Stainless-steel slide design (but durable and stylish)

                        4GB OF MEMORY! Awesome!!!!!

                        Does it have stereo speakers?

Well said! Superthin mobiles aren't all bad. Motorolas and especially Samsungs have really nice features wrapped in a cool-looking package. I just think there's thin and there's too thin. I've tested mobiles like Samsung D900 and while it does have class-winning features and a design that has one awards, it felt like a cheap plastic children's play phone. The slider wobbled and the whole mobile felt really flimsy. Yes, I've seen the "break ice with the side of D900" clip in Youtube and I'm not saying D900 breaks easily (although there is the screen cracking issue). I'm saying that thin mobiles don't usually feel good in a hand: they usually feel cheap and flimsy.

That's why I think it's such a good thing that 1) Nokia is using metal in this mobile and 2) they didn't make it too thin.

For all the haters, the thinner a mobile phone is, the slower it reacts, the worse the interior is.

Rather have a thicker and heavier phone, than something light. When u drop it, it won't have much interior damage.

In my past I've broken many thin motorally or samsung phones. The construction really sucks.

Gotta love this phone if ya got some taste.

In the Gulf area where I live, Nokia is no 1. We are used to it we can't change to use another brand . and with new models Nokia keeps us very loyal to it's products .
In Nokia 6500 I can see many functions in one device .

Too bulky and heavy... Well, I guess you're the sort who wouldn't mind having a mobile the size of a credit card. Personally, I'm the kind of guy who thinks Samsung mobiles are so thin that the thinness is starting to affect ergonomics. Oh, and I guess I don't have to mention that those Samsung Ultra Editions have been reported to have issues like screen cracking and wobbliness. But that hasn't anything to do with thinness... ;)

On a more serious note, I think this mobile is about the optimal size. It feels durable and good in your hand and yet it's thin enough to be put inside a pocket and not feel a big bump. You have also remember that had Nokia made this mobile 3-5mm thinner, it wouldn't have the space for that ergonomic keypad.
