excellent,it is the best phone m using it for 3 yrs.. strength is reliable can bear lots of damages n still working same..

Friends.. I been using Nokia's ever since i started off with cell-fones, it was not too bad till i bought a new 6500s. This fone is probably the WORST handset i got till date, it just SUCKS bigtime. It reboots/freezes randomly, same even after a s/ware reflash. The back-cover im sure is a Design-Fault, its loose all the time causing loose-contact for memory-card. I've to use a rubber-band around the top if i want to access the data-card. Audio is bad. Battery life is even Worse. I cud just go on with this defects list. I kno atleast 3 other people with similar issues on their 6500s too. After paying Rs.13,000 i feel Nokia has cheated me with this Excuse for a fone.
My advice- PLS DONT CONSIDER THE NOKIA-6500s, ITs A REALLY BAD HANDSET, TOTALY UNRELIABLE & FRUSTATING.

This is by far the worst phone I have ever ever used. Completely unreliable and far too easily breakable and damageable. Would never recommend to anyone so if your considering buying it..... DONT!!!

Please where can i change my messages settings from phone to memory card to save them because internal memory to small. And how can i fix the java/lang memory problem ? Dont want to download games.

regarding your memory on 6500 slide... the gold contact in between the camera and the sim card must touch the clip on the back cover of your phone. that is the clip thing on the side of the hole for the camera on your stainless back cover... when you make it on contact the phone will read your memory card. it is because it is a preventive measure to make sure that you are using the phone with the covers on and making the memory card safely removed from the phone... hope this helps... i have one too, same problem as yours and cellphone repairman cant fix it. i just found it by myself... nice phone, take good care of it, good camera... i from the philippines...

As there is no option for sound in camera settings so i hv tried the other method. And restored factory settings twice bt it did not work either. Plz tell me any other method to mute the camera sound. With sound i am unable to use my camera at many places so gyz help me.

Hi. i just ordered this phone today online and am wishing i would have checked these reviews out first! I chose to stick with Nokia because of their simple and easy texting... coming from a Nokia 5300, can anyone tell me if the system is similar to older Nokia models?

Attention all users who have a 'memory card not detected problem':
It is a common hardware problem. The fix is to press the metal part next the camera window, so that its height is enuf to push the memory card hinge. Please be careful in doing so.
