Nokia 6500 slide

The last two nokia's i have got the 6500 slide and the 6280 love going for trips down to nokia care,
if you love waiting in care centres get this phone!
within one month the main speaker blew so it sounded like people were talking to me under water.
then the slide mechanism started to feel very flimsy,
then the operating system started freezing, taking long delays to go into main menu etc.
dont get me wrong its a nice phobne if you want to pay $100 and love Nokia care

I have some questions before I buy this phone:
-What are video recording options? Only VGA@15fps or I can also make video in QVGA@30fps?
-Can I turn on the flash and record videos at night?
-How powerful flash is?
-How long the battery goes with average use?
-Does it hangs alot? Have software updation solved the problems?
-Does it crashes alot?
-They say message memory is limited to free memory available, how come people face problems over 200 messages?
-Is there any application like VideoDJ application in SE phones? Can I download if there isnt any?
-Can I view a standard VCD movie using TV-OUT?

Anonymous, 08 Mar 2009 i really like 6500 nokia and i want buy, but base in yo... moreit is very bad..trust me..jst get something else..when you take anice photo with its camera it looks great on the phone but once you transfer it to ypur computer..i dont knoww what happens..the resolution of the pictures looks like you took apictures with VGA camera..awaste of money

Nokia Phone company , 19 Jan 2009Excuse me people Nokia 6500 slide is A succsesful Phone .I... morein what way it is asuccessful phone?the phone is the worst phone i;ve eever seen..it hangs..battarey life very bad..i lost my trust in all nokia phones because of this one.i have it and also my sis have it and we experience the same problems..iam going to change it with sony ericson

in almost all the slide phone i have seen when you
open the slide and search some thing so then when you
close the slide the phone goes to main screen or main walpaper display but in 6500 slide it is a main problem that it doesn't goes to main screen or display but the item which you were searching remian on the main screen.

i used this phone for 1 month.good phone!no problems using this.nice image n video quality.easy sliding it!the camera pro!sound quality also good.battery life long.

AVSD Mohan, 06 Mar 2009I am facing lots of problems with this phone since i purcha... morehi dear, if u r facing the problem of hanging,make sure that ur memory card is not full or virus infected. also keep the phone memory free,dont use heavy themes aving size over 100 kb. get ur memory card get scanned for viruses or format it. keep ur files in filders

I am facing lots of problems with this phone since i purchased. Main problem is hanging......whenever i am giving in the nokia service center ........no use.

I have Nokia 6500 slide.I have a problem and that is when I open the slide and search or check message or open camera or check any other folder but when i close the slide then it never goes to main display or wallpaper.the item which i was searching remain on the main screen.despite i have set all the option for slide.

only the casing and the camera nice but the features of this model is soooooooooooo disappointing,i regret when i bought it i prefer to use the old one than this model

Really a wonderful set for corporate user, talk time is a never ending story, picture quality near to HD, I have taken pictures in pitch dark and they are very clear. YES!!! software gets hanged some time but it sure pays the service it is giving
