Someone wrote in his/her post that u can attach stereo headset to this phone. just plug it in the phone shows incompatible headset take it off then plug it again, repeat this untill phone does not show the message.MY QUESTION IS THIS IF ITS TRUE THEN WHAT IS THE MODEL OF THAT HEADSET?

lllllllllove this phone, recently i downloaded the mp3 player and bought a large mmc 128 mega, and enjoyed every single minute with this phone, by the way there is a web site (www.xnxx.com) for guys who love babes;)

To pay 'MP3' as the ringtone, you do not need any extra software, if you have bought it brand new, it should come with a PC-Suite program. Set it up. when you transfer mp3 files via this program to the phone (Drag and drop), the program will recognise mp3 files and covert it to small .wav file, which you can use as the ringtone. with the small speaker that it has, there is no deteoriation in the sound quality.

I had this phone for almost 2 years now, basically has gone through so many things. All the functions are excellent, the only thing that it does not have is 2 MP Camera and a flash (back then it did not exist).
MP3 Player problem:
If you install the PC Suite, the program can convert the MP3 to WAV at half freq, means if the size of MP3 is 3Mb, when it got transfered to your phone, it will be 1.5 Mb, but you cannot hear the difference.

6600 actually have an auto restore capability to the factory setting, no matter what you do to the phone. You can format it and make it a brand new, type how to format 6600 in google.
File Supported : .sis, .jad, .jar for installation.
Durability : Pretty good, I've sit on it, drop several times, and it still going.
Connection : Soooo many choices, bluetooth is very consistent, and can be used to regularly back the whole phone too.
Image quality : excellent for a 2 years old phone.

actually i recently bought the black edition of this unit, wow nice look very elegant,wid the 64mb memory card it will fit ur taste, i had downloaded the camcorder 4 better video record,and the mp3 player my only problem is i cannot save it to my memory crd, is it ok to back up the fne memory so that the mp3 file on the inbox will go to my memory card?

i got this phone recently,i am not able to load mp3 songs on my phone, when i try to send them on IR i get error message phone has restricted the transfer , please anyone tell me how to make the MMc card as the default memory so that everything can be downloaded on MMC.

oh yeah i finally discovered a nice software call WMAplus with this software our phone is supported with WMA song fromat i thing all sony phone dont support WMA format !
with this software we can safe alot of place in our phone and no need to convert it to mp4 format coz all music cd is almost use WMA format so i feel this software are good for using headset to listen the song
ya before i found this software i am planning to buy 3250 but now no need lo!!
so this is a great found on symbian !!

I bougth this phone recently. I am satisfied with this but unfortunatly in our country the CDMA oesn't work and I can't use it. Anyhow this ia a good phone. My former phone was Nokia 2100. but it didn't work good it ha problem in charchin . because of that i change my phone because Nokia has good board and Anten.

it is old and i think the software is slow. or is it same as the 3230? is the joy stick crap? and how can i re-install the symbian software in the 6600? where shud i get it?? .....thanx
