Supurb phone. One excellent unit. I've had my 6600 over a year and have been very happy with it. Can add so much to it using Symbian programs. I have loaded an MP3 player (UltraMP3!) and an automatic keylock program (Keylock).

it's areally good phone with a lot of potentials,but if ya r lookin' 4 more fun i don't recommend 6600,no mp3 player,no radio & a vga camera with a low resolution,where is the fun in that :)

Love the Nokia 6600!!!Weird lookin phone but love the features.I just saw it on DVD(Cellular)starring Kim Basinger.Only wished for a better camera.

Does 6600 support "aac" audio format.Is there any software for making the phone compatible for "aac".

Amit u need a software called Fexplorer to copy the MP3.Trust me.It really works for me.veryon will say w cant sav the MP3 send by our friends but with this software it's settled!Save it to the mmc then use a card reader to send it to ur windows 98 using USB port.Buy a Apacer card reader.It works best!

i have recently installed an mp3 software in my 6600 it works ok but the only problem is if receive an mp3 file using bluetooth i am unable to txd it to the mmc card. i have a win 98 on my comp. and the pc suite software does not run on win 98. any way in which i can transfer mp3's from the phone memory to mmc card to is there any software that will directly receive bluetooth msg. and store them in mmc instead to phone memory any ideas?

Hey guys, if you guys want a mp3 software that really works, go and install a codec6600.sis file first because all its registration codes are inside!You can use camcoder pro to shoot unlimited video and there is no such software for us to listen to the radio on our 6600.Just MP3!Believe me i've got 40 full length MP3 in my phone now!Remember to expand ur MMC card to 256MB 1st then only install all the softwares.OK hope this helps u guys.Any more questions?????

I have a Nokia 6600! At first I was a bit confused with it! As I brought it second hand so I had no user guide to read to help me out, and I was a bit scared to play around with it in case I did something I couldn’t undo
I ended up selling it and then I brought another one brand NEW!! I love it...
Nice big screen so I can see my cool wall papers! And the other GREAT thing I love about this phone is that the time and network logo are displayed at the top of the screen, so I can see my whole wallpaper! Without having text going through my pictures (wallpaper)
Unlike other phones in the past...
I love the fact it's BIG because I get some much attention!
And it also so COOL how you can use ring tones as message tones…
the only thing I have noticed it sometimes my joystick gets a bit stuck so for example when I push up it doesn't move or goes sideways but, I do have an aftermarket housing on it that maybe the problem.

This phone is total rubbish!! Had it for nearly 12 months now and can’t wait to get rid! The phone was sent back once because of its poor quality and although I was assured the issues had been resolved I was still faced with the same problems!!! The battery life is poor, as is the memory. Dont know how to put this but the phone seemed to get quite 'confused' at times. Constantly unable to send text messages although at times the phone says the message has failed when it has actually been received! Many times I have sent the same message more than once at my own expense when I didn’t need to. Quiet slowly on the up take as well. Very disappointed, especially with it being a Nokia. Would NOT recommend...
