Disappointing. I had a 7650, then a 3650 and then tried a 6600. There didn't seem to be much in the 6600 that the 3650 didn't have(except for the screen, and the extra memory). I was bored with the UI too. I went for the P900....far superior, a true smartphone.

ashish I love 6600 too, but there are some things that you said were untrue.
                    The truth:
                    - SX1 has a magnificent screen; same as 6600.
                    - Softwares that work on 6600 will work on SX1 because it is Symbian OS (7.0s work on 6.x but not vice versa)
                    - SX1 is for 670$ as 6600 is for 600$ (warranty) w/o warranty 600 and 450 respectively.

to all stupid! people who compare nokia 6600 to other one's.
                      n 6600 is best in it's class
how can u compare it with siemens sx1 the quality of screen is just similar to it
.sx1 as shown on official site wil cost around $800 whereas 6600 450$

u can find 6600 softwares (which are very good like it can be used as remote control for any tv,dvd etc)anywhere on net and many upgrades but for sx1 very rare!
best of all u can run n-gage games on it
(it will hook u tp it)

The whining about MMS and GPRS is network dependent. You see, the 6600 uses WAP 2.0. So some networks are still too retarded for Nokia technology.

I bought the 6600 last week. What a great phone.
I don;t understand those whining about MMS & GPRS. It's working perfect for me, and other owners in Australia.
The only issue with MMS, is that it seems Nokia wont allow you to send Midi files in MMS. Everything else is fine.

Only complaint, is slow boot time. Hopefully, Nokia will fix this in the next firmware.

i find the 6600 very nice but when the SX1 was released, the 6600 became so ugly. Even the P900 looks like a shit now.

                                      geonah.
Goods? 65k screen, clarity of polyphonic tones (almost as good as samsung), the great camera for MMS, and the look of the phone.
Bads? Life time, (1 day if u dont wanna get cut off in the middle of the 2nd) and the software is a bit slow but that's all.

The more this phone is criticezed, the more it goes popular I feel that those who criticeze this handset don't even have any idea about it, it is only to criticeze Nokia, Guys it has the biggest share of the mobile market so...
I'm interested in this handset and I need some real oppinions of this thing. Someone who tried it and knows goods and bads.
