Dude, read about phones before complaining. The Z600 is a T610 in a new home. They have the same features, same screen. LoL, the 6600 is sooo much different than the 3650!!! I had both. The 3650's camera is dope compared to the 6600. Not to mention the screen. Everybody knows the screen of the Nokia 6600 is one of the best screen ever implemanted in a phone. A magneficent 65536 color TFT screen. The only screen better than it is the P900's. The screen of the SX1 is equal. So read about phones before making untrue and extremely stupid comments.
@The other unknown using MP3player.
I downloaded a software from http://forum.nokia.com that enables you to convert your MP3 files into AMR, better quality and about 800kB for a 4MB MP3. The sound comes out GREAT from the 6600. It is 'Nokia Multimedia Converter'.
To all people considering buying a 6600...
Go for it. It is, without a doubt, the best phone out there for it's price. (US$450 w/o warranty.)

Well its seem to ve alot of hate n love for this phone. But i've got one questions to ask, can i download any 3rd party chinese software ? This phone really helps me alot in daily work after i lost my pda.

the display sucks! what's so different to 3650?
z600 is even better than this phone. and of course, there are so many phones that are better than this 6600. why should pay so much money for this phone while you can buy some other that are better but have the same price.

yes it can play mp3 .... i have a software called mp3player and it comes with an equlazier...... it is fantastic

Don't buy SX1. It's too expensive. 6600 is the same phone with a better keypad.

Just got this phone, please advise on how to increase the time duration for video recording. Currently, I am only able to record average of 10 secs per shot. In addition, can this phone have chinese software for sms. Overall, it's a good phone, handsfree very clear, picture display big and sharp, enormous memory space, bought another battery should solve the battery problem. Thanks.

guys this is the best phone ever i have it for like a month now and i didnt write a reply b4 i am sure about everything....
the only things i dont like about r
1- the battery ike my old 7650 and 3650 cant stand for max 2 days.
2- the new symbian system dont work with some old apps for 3650.
3- the phone becomes somehow little slower than usual when i use large them....
beside that...... it is a WOW phone.... dont compare it to the SX1 .... it is enough the keypad there.... and dont compare it to the p900 cuz it is a different kind of phone and if u r talking about the touch screen i have bluetooth pen .... and it is unbelievable i can write 100000000 words and save it as a note in the 6600 with colours if i want...
and for the camera i have the italian software of video mms for 6600 i can record 2 mins with sound and the quality is good ..... and ofcourse we r waiting for more and more software.... and i dont have to tell u about the n-gage games in a decent desighn phone ....
i think it is enough that with the thems , smrt launcher and active today u can have a different look and feel for ur mobile everyday for like 100 years.
and who ever say the display is not that good or it is like 3650..... i tell him/her SHUT UP

the nokia 6600 is nice though but the video camera time limit is small and the menu is more like siemens's therefore if it had the same menu as all the other coloured screen nokia it will be the best. Oh! and forget the time limit of the video camera, in my opinion it should be at least 40 seconds (by the way i am from cyprus and i am 14 years old but i know lots about computers and mobiles)

Another this i forgot to mention. I'm telling this not because i don't like nokia model. Even me using nokia 3650. Another disadvantages of this model is the stability of the symbian OS 7 which is install into this model. My fren seldom get his phone restart automatically and seldom get hang. I don't really like if this seldomly happen to my mobile. I recommend just wait until the OS get stable little bit. Thanks.

Nokia does come out with nice user friendly features for their phone, but the only this i don't like about this 6600 model is the JAVA compatibility. It does not support JAVA MIDLET 1.2 application or even games smoothly. Basically, it's not backward compatible for the JAVA 2.0 to use JAVA 1.2 MIDLET. Suck!!

I have had this phone for just over a week and it is an amazing phone. All the functionality is great. Easy to use. Great memory and the camera is unreal. Great phone overall. One of Nokias best phones ever.
