hey guys my batery goes down very fast i chenged the batery whith a new one but its the same i charged it today it said "batery full" but then after 30 min. it beep two times saying "batery low" and in the third time it switched off what could be the problem. can somebody tell me

yes, it has stereo output and it supports viking mp3 player.
master reset is *#7370#. i prefer resetting it. if it still cant play mp3 files, bring it to nokia center.

Using Hs-2R headset from nokia ,radio feature can added to 6630 phone ,but i have one doubt reg this ,can we listen to stereo mp3 music on phone through this.

Does it hv stereo output for music??
If i dwnload viking mp3 player in it wil the music output be stereo? Plz inf me.

please someone tell me why cant it play mp3 files it says "unable to set as tone. File format not supported" and i have put some app. but it cont install them "istallation security error. unable to install" and how can i do a master reset to my phone please if someone could help him could it be that i have do reset it

yes, i have tried to upgrade my firmware via pc and usb cable(dku-2) and the active display of like n70 is not true by default unless there is another application that do that.
in its price range, this is the best symbian phone. it has 3g and it can play nintendo and gameboy color games without slowing.
and yes, this is better that 3230. you can play more games because of its speed. and you can put 2gb(not preffered, i use 1gb which is safer). the only problem is it has no fm radio, it cant save picture message(monochrome version/black and green) but can receive and it has no infrared.

I heard that from Nokia's official site, any one can upgrade the Firmware of 6630 phone with the use of dku-2 cable and a PC, does any one tried it out, they say that after upgrade 6630 will to have "Active Display" like N70

i think that it's not a good phne
the memory is too small
and the phone is too slow
aslo the bluetooth is version 1.2 !!! this is too bad and low
if you want to buy a phone don't take this one because there is alot of mobiles that is better than it and in the same price
((dont buy it)) it's a bad mobile

hey,my 6630 hav a 2Gb dv mmc mobymemory,and it works perfectly,the only little problem is..it runs slowly,not very slow...

dont buy 3230, it is a low end or a smartphone for less. its processor is just half of what 6630 and 6680 has. it has mono output.
6630 and 6680 is almost the same. 6680 only has the better color output on the screen which is 256k colors compared to 65k colors of 6630 but most people cant see the difference. the only major difference between the two is the video calls.
if you dont use video calls then buy 6630.
im using 1gb PQI dv rs-mmc. i've heard some people who are using 2gb. 512mb is fine. make sure you format it first using your phone

Hey guyz! I bought N70 ecently, i was disapointed with the light contrast it suddenly colapse, i returend it back to the buyer as of now i am planning to buy some other nokia phone do you think 6630 is worth a price? yes i know its not that as good as n70 but can i copmpare this phone to n7610? please help me. is it not hang when you changed memory card to 516mb?helpme pleas! Tanx

it could be the battery,

im using 1gb dv rs-mmc. have you reformatted your card initially when you first used it? this is usually the most common mistake.
to disable the light sensor, you can put an opaque tape on the light sensor. put it inside so it doesnt mess the design.

hey while im speaking whith my 6630 it switches of because it beebs like it has no batery but it shows that it has more then one square in the screen please tell me what can the problem be. Could it the batery please can anybody tell me

This phone really ROCKS !!!
very nice keyboard for messaging, nice camera and mp3 player, and it IS very FAST !!!
I've installed more than 100 apps on it, but it didn't slow down even a bit, (I have a 256mb card) , it doesn't hang, and no bugs at all !
the sound quality is also good but i need better sound quality :D

hello,i have 6630 since 1.5year....its nice but ...since i have shifted the memory card to 256Mb its not working well,in the sense it gets hanged up....messages doesnt open ,cannot view pics ...wht to do re the prblm...please suggest how much memory doest it supprt? thank u

this fone totally sucks.i may have bout 1 wit a firmware bug.d things bloody slow,drivin me nutsit stopped being detected2 d computer,makin it useless.
now using a w700i.happy with dat 4 now...

I've had this phone for 2 years and started to have problems like yours. Another problems I had was the uncapability of the to read the SIM card, it was all due to humidity! This kind of issue isn't covered by nokia's waranty. hope your problem isn't the same. this problem i had was a good excuse 2 buy a pda!
