hi there my fellow 6630 users... i'm using this fon for about more than 2 months from now and i'm using a 1g transcend rs-dv-mmc... but since i used the 1g memry card, some applications on the fon became slower... when i go to gallery and open the images, it took 15 to 20 seconds before it would open... processing the pictures (ie deleting, moving, renaming etc) also took some time... another one is the video recorder, when i record videos, it always has a pause but when i try it with a 64mb memry card, there was no apuse at all... but for me it doesn't matter coz i got lots of mp3 files in fon non now (150 songs)... ei, cud anyone give me some links where i can find FREE movies with .avi file name for my fon.. pls pls pls... thanks in advance

nokia 6630 is an awesome phone
but I have one question
is it possible to change the screensaver?
it only has three options
the date and time
the text
and the "screensaver" but whenever I choose the "screensaver" it only gives out one screensaver
is it possible to edit what kind of "screensaver we're gonna be having?

this phone is the best phone i have ever seen in my life !!!!!! bluetooth , mms , 10 mp and maltimediacard[mmc] all in one.

it seems fast enough but is it stable?
the main difference thaqt I found compared to a friend of mine (I dunno on which of us has a newer firmware ) but
I tried a launch 6630 and there was a lag when shooting photos the lag is like that of the k750i like there's an autofocus or something :)
but the picture previewed is clean and sharp no noises at all
in my version there is no lag just a split second, but the picture previewed is a bit (grainy,noisy) but when I check the same picture at the gallery the quality improves no more striking noises in the quality o fthe pics and the lighting is more luminous,sharper pics hehe
and seems to have better video(less pixelating when moving the camera)
but is my version stable enough?
hehe any help would be greatly appreciated

hii, jus got a second hand 6630 2 days back.. have also got a 256 mb mmc, seems to work fine, the ver is 3.5, how can i get it upgraded,, any suggestions, this seems to be a jewwel of a mobile, COOOOL...

6600 is a great fone but u can't compare it with the 6630. 6630 has got all the features that 6600 has and a lot of extras. Its leaps and bounds ahead of the 6600!! If u really wanna buy one of these two just close ur eyes and go for 6630. All u have to do is pay a few extra bucks. You wont be disappointed. Coz i am not.
Read the posts to find the differences between these two fones. To name a few, 1)6630 has a processor which is almost twice the speed of the 6600. 2) Better battery..900 mAh compared to 850 mAh of the 6600. 3) Newer OS. 4) Stereo sound through earfones. 5) 10mb internal memory. 6600 has only 6mb. 6) EDGE Class 10. Internet is 3 to 5 times faster than on 6600. 7) It has 3G (not everybody needs this at the moment). 8) 1.3 mp camera and 1hr video recording. 6600 has only a VGA camera. ETC ETC ETC.

i have been reading about the purpose of small sensor in front of n6630, 3g sensor, 3g camera etc, but my friends these are not purposes for which this sensor is placed in front, its the sensor which check the amount of light if the light is low its glows the
keypad if the light is high the key pad doesnt glows, you can check that for urself

hey ppl....this is te best phone ever...dont go in for any other crappy mobile...this is one of the fastest and stable mobile and jam packed with features found in no other phones...ter is nothing u cant do with this baby...so my best advice is close ur eyes n go 4 this piece if u wanna good phone!!

Hey.....
to convert the 3gp file into the .avi, we can download the smart movie player with the convertor and install the smart movie player on the mobile and install the convertor on the pc. after that follow the intructions like they will ask u to put the code in the convertor which u already installed on the pc. and cell u have to enter few codes that they will guide u.after that just pic the file that u want to convert and then press convert and then install it with the new name and then put that file into yr mobile using pc suite or bluetooth or watever... ANY QUESTION.................BYE

use IMTOO MPEG ENCODER to convert vdos into 3gp format....
well the best mp3 player as far is i know is power mp3 ultra mp3 is nice too...

7610 is better in looks but its camera cant be compared to 6630.
If u want a good feature phone then this is best..
