I wanted to buy this phone.
Reason I didnt - ONLY 7MB OF AVAILABLE RAM.
It seems that new Symbian uses memory resources more aggressive than previous versions, so the real potential of 6630 when multitasking is about is even under 6600. I was very interested in emulation (MAME etc.) but then I read on EEMAME developers page that: "Nokia 6630 and Nokia 6680. These models, surprisingly, have a bit less free memory than earlier Series 60 phones; therefore only Mini-E2MAME runs on these."
Everything else about the phone is great (200 MHz, camera...). But does it make sense?
Its like putting 64Mb Ram on Pentium IV with WWindowsXP.

how dyu get the WAP for the phone..every time i go on the net it says "Packet Data:Packet Data not available,Check Network services.." what does it mean??

hi guyz u know wat this iz the first time i hav used a phone for 4 months or otherwise i used to keep on changing the phones but guys i lov this phone and planning to keep it for some more time.. i hav got a black panel for my cell it lookz gr8.... 6630 rockz so users enjoy.......love REHBER

To Hanan. When u format u phone memory, the system files of all the softwares in ur phone memory removed. Reinstall all the applications. It will solve the problem.

1st to sonu when u format ur fone memo all your java apps and some of symbian apps stop walkin u will need 2 re install dm..and by d way d 6630 4 me is a very cul fone..d mp3 is gr8t d offline mode is innovative..i tink it is blasphemy 2 compare dis fone 2 n7610 or k7??

Once I hve fromated my phone memory after that it is not opening any added application like samrt movie, etc.
Is there any setting to apen application.

well nokia 6630 is a user friendly phone, but i encounter some problems with my nokia 6630, the LCD of my phone is dark, pls help me with this problem is it anything wrong in my phone>?

Is there anyway i can install the firmware of NOkia 6630 Music edition onto my Nokia 6630? and wat are the major difference between the two? is there differences in camera quality? (in my opinion, 6630 camera quality for indoor shots is bad)

it becomes darker after a few seconds right?
it is about power saving, it is a sophisticated function of 6630. it is not a fault.

today i uses both nokia 6260, sony ericsson s700, nokia 6630. all of them picture sound and camera of 6630 is exellent so NOKIA ROCKS BABY ROCKS!
