hello!i want to buy a 6630but i don't know something...could you help me?when you make a video call,how do you make it exactly?because 6630 has only one camera,isn't it?how does the other person sees you during the video call?you turn the camera on the back towards you?thank you!

Ali,
It's improved for MP3 music playback and also the phone responsed faster after the latest software uopgrade.
BTW, sold my 3230 and bought this 6630 brand new as I like the design (looked more solid) and 3230 (looked squarish & MP3 soft).

This phone is by far better than any motorola e1000, sony k750 etc........... the camera quality is mind blowing. Looks like 2 mega pix. Speaker is very very loud for listening to music on. Battery excellent, signal excellent, style is superb!!
Highly reccommended. 8 x zoom.

I have 1 question , u told that u have upgraded to 5.03 Firmware. did u feel ne change in sound quality? what was the basic change u felt beside the increased speed???

The little diode type thingi on the top right of the fone is a "Light Sensor". It adjusts the screen & keypad backlight according to the day/nite conditions. It will deffinately "NOT" blink at all:)

Just upgraded my 6630 software (V 5.03.08-17-08-05) yesterday. Now my phone is fast and smooth. BTW, I'm using DV 256MB MMC and I think is adequate, create different folders and it will run more smoothly.
Hope this will help. I like this 6630 phone as well as the design (look solid and camera is one of the best in its class).

Really great.. try to use nokia hs23 for musics.. it is really amazing.. can anbody help what is use of light indicator in the top right corner of the panel? when will it work? Shameer

maybe the rsmmc u use is not dual voltage card.
you must make sure that your rsmmc is dual voltage, otherwise it wont work on 6630, 6680,6681 etc....however,non dual voltage rsmmc can work on phones like 7610, 6670, 3230.

i went to get a 6630 coz orange have tv on it now but 2 shops i tried couldnt show me the tv working,so has anyone seen it,.................thanks ian

Hello guys ive been using this 6630 for 2 month and i would like to say that is a wonderful device. This phone brings a 64MB, but when i try a 128 MB one the phone doesnt ricognise it, a friend tried on his 7610 and it work ok, i tried on a 6680 and it didnt work either. So my question is should i have to donwload a new firnware or is a it a phone problem? So if it is a firnware problem where can i update it? If someone knows a site please let me know, Joseph

I've been using the phone for less than a week. it's been good but the battery life is not-tat-good. lasting only 1 day max with moderate use.
How to I check what version of firmware I'm using?
And what other replacement applications to the calendar function? The default calendar function does not record the year of birth for a birthday reminder.

Hey who ever said this phone is slow needs to get firmware upgraded.. coz on newer firmware it don matter the size of the rsmmc they all are read at the same speed believe it or not

U must have POP3 email account then configure ur POP3 emai account on 6630, thats how u can use dis cell for email, to watch tv?? do u mean watching Streaming Videos over Real Player?? or just simple plain TV signals??? This cell doznt have a TV receiver what it does have a high speed internert access (3G) and u can watch streaming videos pretty fine :) All u need for that is to get a net access (ask out ur service provider)
