Hi got the 6630, no problems really at all. Does anyone know how to get rid of games once downloaded? think ive tried everything!
Tip: If a message comes up saying not enough memory or it wont open an application, try opening the memory card door tgen shutting...... It closes down all open applications.

What's the deal with the Bl-5C battery anyway? My phone specs say it's 900mAh, but if you search the Nokia website you find that BL-5C is infact 850mAh. Are there two batteries with different capacities but with the same code or what is the explanation?

The 6630 Battery depletion caused by searching of network?? Very odd. Under Network selection I for example show a few available Chunghwa, Chunghwa 3G, TWN GSM, TWN GSM 3G. I select Chunghwa under network selection Manual. You go to a basement or some where where reception is poor and it asks you for reselection of Network as it is under Manual and it keeps searching till you select one every time. How annoying!! Put it in Automatic mode and it keeps searching for the 3G Network everytime it loses reception !!

The depletion of battery on the 6630 is caused by the usage of 3G network or searching for the network. Please TURN the network settings to only use GSM signal & not 3G signal, then your battery will last about 24 hours with 2 hours talktime like mine.
Please do not use BL-6C on the 6630 bekos it will bend the motherboard of the phone by pressuring the walls of phone motherboard & the cover. BL6C is not designed to be use in a 6630.
BL5C is rated at 900mah, BL6C rated at 1050mah, a mere 150mah over 900mah = 16% more power only. BL6C does not last 50% more than the BL5C as some people claim.
I got 5pc BL-5C on standby. I will never run out of juice. In Malaysia u can get a original Nokia verified BL5C for RM60 (USD16) only.
Firmware version 3.45.113 is dated on 04-01-05 does contain many many bug fixes. I have tested it many times.
Please do read some previous posts instead of asking the same questions again & again about the RS-MMC cards. 6630 can only used the new dual voltage 1.8v-3.6v RS cards lable MMC Mobile, now made only by Kingmax & Twinmos. Its launch in Hong Kong with version of 128, 256 & 512Megs only. The speed of these cards is about 150X (1X=150k)

psyfez, are you saying ther ngage battery can be used on this phone???seems like short battery life is not only my problem....hm...
For those who have problem which keep prompting you that its not able to read the memory card, try inserting the memory card till there is a click sound... the person in the shop which i bought the phone from didnt do that for me and I always have the same error... until i bought it to the nokia shop....

Have the same problem, battery barely lasts a day with rarely using the phone.
Left the house at 1100 A.M. and when I got home at midnight the thing started to beep! Never saw a battery drain so quick...

hey guys some good news. the nokia ngage qd battery works on the 6630 and men believe me that it lasts almost 50% longer with heavy usage. the battery is the bl-6c and it has a power of 1060mAH so thatz why, the only thing is that the battery makes avery tight fit when putting the cover back. all of ya having battery problems shud try out the BL-6C you will be amazed. ENJOY!!!
n.b: we tried this battery on my friend's 6630 and it lasted 4 days with serious gaming (ngage games) and two movies of 1hr 45mins each and also lots of mp3 music playing.

bought this phone three days ag...the only bug i found was in the themes color palltette, the color doesnt change if you change it in the pallette...I think the restarting problem is because people install lots of 3rd party apps that arent compatible with this phone.

I have bought my N6630 for nearly a week... no big problem... besides the battery life is really short.... i have to charge it almost daily...does all of you have the same problem? or is it only me???can anyone share with me?

I was going to wait for the 3320 but noticed that the memory is a lot smaller than the 6630 but as its a memory card can I just use a larger memory card? Can anyone tell me which one will be better, I want the phone mainly for pics and videos so I think the memory size is important.....I am also a bit technophobic so bear with me if this seems a silly question on memory size!!

i have been using this phone for about a week now. my firmware version is the first batcj i think. dated 11-11-04. where in kl,malaysia i can upgrade my firmware? i bought an AP set, will nokia authorized dealer upgrade it for me and how much they will charge? so far i have no problem at all with the phone, everything works great except for battery life, i have to charge my battery every night but i mostly listen to mp3 for a few hours daily.

Hi guys!
My firmare is 2.39.15 ( 11-11-04 ).
Only problem I have is this: my phone from time to time ( 5 times in 6 hour use ) trows this msg: Unable To Access Memory Card when i try to take pics, or to browse the MMC.
Only fix is to restart it, or to open MMC doors, and just close it.
Is anyone able to help?
i think it's software isue, cuz..u don't touch anything, u just restart, and it's okey, couldn't b hardware..
My phone in 2 days, restarted just once, when i've hold the ZERO ( 0 ) and started GPRS and i wanted to close it, ans somehow i couldn't and it froze and restarted.
Other then that, everything is okey!
PLEASE HELP!
