to nokia6260user, well u can actually tell the difference when u type a message. the font will be slightly smaller. u can also differentiate it on the main screen such as the right/left selection key labels. e.g message, camera. for 6600, i suppose all are the big size font. the smaller version would be harder to see so i still prefer the big one.

I have 2 concerns about this phone. First is the speed, sometimes when i press the message button, it takes a while to open. Its SLOOOOOW. Does anybody have this problem. THis happens even when no programs are open.

Secondly, pre-release everybody was saying this phone has the best camera comparable or even better to SE K700. But when i take pic of video, the image is slightly blurred. It suppose to have the best camera for mobiles. Moreover they said we can take video for 1 hour. RIght now, the max i can take is 22 min, because of the small sotrage space.

By the way has anybody dropped this phone. I usually drop new phones(of course by accident). I have been using this phone for 5 weeks now, no DROPS. Maybe its Nokia design. Just wondering if it is fall safe

When I spoke to Nokia a week ago they denied the existence of any known bugs in the 6630, and refused to even look at a backup file which would generate this bug.

I presumed their technical dept must have known by now, but their customer-facing people will probably be the last to know... and in a company that size, you can never get to speak to the people who you need to.

I've had my 6630 for a month now and it's done a few strange things in that time but generally really pleased with it. Today though it won't let me create/send any messages at all - even email. When I try and get to the point where u put in the number/name of the person to send it to it immediately goes back to the main menu. I've tried switching the phone off and back on and taking the cards out and back in - even the battery but nothing seems to work. Please please can someone put me out of my misery!!

              Cheers

There are actually two version of Nokia 6630. The one with smaller fonts can write chinese. The ones with bigger fonts, u can't write or read chinese. So for those who wants chinese writing, get hte big font version.

hey people. the bl-6c does actually work on the nokia 6630. in a way it is very tite but then with some adjustment u can ensure it doesnt harm the phone. be careful though cause if u force it u mite damage somtin otherwise the battery works real good. psyfex it is nice to know some one else has tried this and solved the battery life shortage.
the battery doesnt last 50% as such but it does last a whole lot longer than the bl-5c. i have actually clocked 4 days and some minutes with the phone using the bl-6c and i played hours of music and played a lotta games.

i had intially bought the xdaIIi but was v.dissapointed wid the camera and am not a nokia fan tbh...but nokia 6630 has made me stand for them, camera is brilliant and very quick at a click , prety quick processor and i havent had a problem till now, planing to enhance it as much as i can(movies on the memory card etc etc:D), overall proud owner of one and am glad i made a choice to choose 6630!!

                                        Anon,

Its easy to uninstall programs and downloaded games. Go to Tools, then Manager, in the list chose the game you like to remove, click options and chose remove.
Instead of takingout the memory card and reinserting it, try pressing the Menu button. It shows all the programs running, select them and close it manually. I dont know if its safe to keep removing the memory card.
