What's this I hear from people ?
only plays MP3's in mono & the font size is ludicrously small. Yet this is the state of the art latest Nokia !!!!!

Try to format your phone and memory card, I've read some where that by doing this the problems you've mentioned are resolved.

christ what a pain this camera is. so the first one i got had system error problmes everytime it tried to take a picture then they crashed. same with thre second. now on the third. cant cant the stand to work, cant load the software on to my PC. emailed Nokia no response, idiot in shop no idea - have upgraded to two cans and a piece of string

I have a Nokai 7610 right now, I'm getting a new phone. Either the Nokia 6630, or the Sony Ericsson S700. A friend of mine told me that the 6630 is FAR more better than the S700, I just forgot why though. He also said that the external mem card of the S700 is really pricey, comapred to the 6630.

Which firmware you are talking about?
Did you flash your phone?
Please can you tell me which was your previous Firmware?
Did you experiance bad snap shots in low night condition in your previous firmware? and how's the result of snaps in new firmware????
Please answer me these question... I'll be highly obliged... I've bought this device but the problem which I'm facing is bad snaps in night mode or in low light........

i got the new firmware!!! everything got fix...no restarting problem n tis phone is so cool.If anyone who like to switch to a new phone this is the phone u must buy!

Don't be mislead into thinking that the PT8 cradle will let you take movies or pictures using the forward facing camera.. it ONLY works on Video calls.. a slightly oversight I feel on Nokias part, and a total waste of use.

Unknown - I understand the issues that you have brought up. There is a way round it (kind of). Video calls can still be made without the cradle;- If you start a video call as normal you can still see the other person but they cant see you (they see what ever your camera lense is looking at). So a FACE to FACE call is impossible without the cradle.

Many of my customer when were buy this unit they ask me if they will buy a software for that model, specially the memory card and why the memory card of nokia 7610 is not compatible for that model?

u can get this phone in Malaysia. with only MYB (RM 2050.00).
out of 10, thr r 6 of them hving the same problem
1)auto restart.
2)Memory space.( MAX this phone can use 128 MB. further up will cause more prob )
guys, jst hope tht nokia will release the upgraded firmware soon..

The cradle is a bit of a con, as the camera doesnt work on it, only video calls.. and the way you have to plug power in seems like a bit of an afterthought to me.

v 3.45.110 - Is this still the latest software? This phone is great, but it does keep rebooting which is getting annoying, and Orange are saying its not their issue, and Nokia.. well they are crap when I called Club Nokia.

djones - exactly put it in a cradle, you will look right good walking around with your phone in a cradle like a house brick, its just so nokia can make more money, also how you supposed to walk around with phone and cradle, am starting to think can nokia actually make a video calling phone that is all integrated?
