Had the phone for a couple of days now after my upgrade...... The phone is Absolutely brilliant! no problems with it! spent all day yesterday on it video calling, downloading, personalising, adding 150 contacts with pictures, synchronising with my pc etc. etc. Only half my battery used - Not bad in my opinion. I would recomend this phone to anyone. smaller, less inteligent phones are nothing compared to this! To be honest i dont think yhe 6630 is big any way!
Must buy!

Well my experiance regarding 6630 is super... duper... cool :)...
I'm very satisfy with my purchase... Only few issues which I'm sure will be resolved in next firmware like; Night shot issue or restarting issue...
Well for some questions...
1, Battery life is very good my battery lasts for about two days with very heavy usage.. I think it's pretty good, perhaps I've read some where that QD's battery fits in 6630 and this can increase your battery life for about 30% :-)... cool isn't it? for those who are complaining about their batteries please check the make.. mine is made in hungry..
2, The sound output is stereo and believe me the sound is better then my CD MAN.. with orignal head set (Which has to be supplied in package)
Well as far as my issues are concerned like:
1, Night shot and
2, MMC card
I think they must be resolved in a couple of months :)
By the way can 6630 users share their firmwares... Thanx...
6630 is good purchase believe me...

How do I activate my GPRS and MMS I am from the Philippines and using Smart Communications as my service provider. The fonts in the 6630 are tooo small unlike the ones in the 6600 and 7650. Video is not clear pixelized- slow reaction to commands- how can I upgrade my phone by new applications?

This has probably been said before but will just remind some of you that this phone only accepts DUAL VOLTAGE RS-MMCs. Do not buy a standard one (2.7v-3.6v I think) as this needs the 1.8v type. I think they are due out end of Jan / during Feb 2005.

Yes I too agree the battery life is pretty crap but the phone itself is good. I wanted the next step up from my old 6600, this is probably a half step up! Camera is very good in daylight but under slightly lower light conditions you get a very grainy image (noticed the same prob on the SE V800). One way to overcome this is to stick it onto night mode, boost up the contrast / brightness and then wait 5 secs or so before taking a pic. Sound again is mono but the speaker is better. Mem card is only 32MB (Grrr) plus its quite tempermental (Error: data comes up as corrupt but isn't which means opening the side door and closing to correct it). I give it 8/10.
Wishlist for next Nokia: optical zoom, auto-focus, flash, stereo sound. Should be a reality when I upgrade in just under 12 months! Oh I was going to get the Sharp 902 but was put off by a few things plus you can't have a phone these days without Symbian (hee hee!)

This is a tip for anyone that wants this phone, is coming to the end of there contract and due a phone upgrade on orange (maybe others aswell). I really wanted this phone but was stumbling on the £119.99 price from orange (on contract) I spoke to someone at upgrades and they gave me a number for disconnections. I spoke to them and told them i was thinking of leaving because i can get the phone cheaper on other networks and they have offered me the phone for free on a 12 month £30.00 tariff contract.
it was like taking candy from a baby! (of course i wouldnt do that!)

I have a problem with my 6630,when i have a missed call from someone & ring back on this person when he calls me again if i again didn't answer the phone counts them as 2 missed calls.
it goes like this for example:
1-"beso" call me & i didn't answer (1 missed call)
2-i view the missed call & exit the log & called beso
3-beso called me again & i also didn't answer (another 1 missed call on the screen)
4-i press view then i found Beso(2) in the missed calls menu instead of Beso
that's the prblem and it goes like that i always adds one.
if beso gave me two missed calls after i had called him & the screen displayes 2missed calls but when i press view it's Beso(3) instead of Beso(2)???
does this happing to anyone here?? can u try this with ur phones guys & tell me.
