If you need to make a video call then you'll have to buy the video call stand seperately i suppose. As for 6230's sound quality. 6630's sound quality is way better than 6230! I compared them already. 6630 sounds more realistic. I've seen many complains here but so far I haven't got any of these problems yet. The only thing is that you can't see the new message icon when the screensaver has time out. Only the missed call icon can be seen..

HI, Anup. cool. Ask u, is the sound volume is same as 6230? How about its sound quality? Is it better or equal or lose to 6230.... as I know, of all nokia phone, 6230 is the best in terms of sound quality... thanks...

          Hi all,

I have had this phone for more than a week now and I am still facing problems with Syncing with my laptop. I have a Sony Z1XSP with BlueSpace NE Bluetooth. I can send pictures normally, but for some reason I always get an error with Sync. It says make sure the phone is in idle State and sometimes it says check the SyncML settings.

Second problem is I havn't been able to use the Bluetooth modem. USB modem works fine.THe phone just cannot dial into the modem. I am not sure if the laptop has found the modem on the phone.

If anyone knows the answers to my question please answer them.
Others wise this phone is a MUST.

CONFUSED, Everybody has problems with the palette.

CHRIS, I agree with you. The n6630 is just not for indoor imaging. Too grainy photos. But in natural light outdoors, no other phone (from Nokia anyway) can beat the 6630. And I too think the 6600 give better results indoor, in artifical light.

FAWAZ, I'm from India too. They say the price will NOT be less than Rs.24,500 or Rs.25,000 by Jan end. Now its Rs.25,800 here in KOCHI. Heavy demand out here. have to wait 2-3 days after you order to get ths phone. Price will be more or less stable till another phone (Nokia) of this kind comes out. Even the 7710 has not caused the 6630's price to fall much.

On second thought, I think 6600 would be better for indoor imaging. And I dont think the pic as shown here is really taken with the 6630 because i tried to take a picture with my night mode activated during night time and the picture taken turn out to have lots of white dots. Just my opinion but that doesnt matter, it's excellent when taken outdoor during the day.

I just got this phone yesterday. So far no sign of any bug yet. This is the best phone I've ever had compared to my previous phones (Samsung True-i,6610,6600,7610). It's fast, with good quality picture and also good quality sound except for the brightness of the light, it's a bit dim. Trust me, get this phone. You won't regret this. As for those who said the speaker wasn't loud enough. Perhaps you didn't adjust the volume. I compared with my friend's 6230 and the volume are almost the same.

n6630: Stereo MP3 output on earphones only. Mono from speaker. DEFINTELY better than mono earphone output of n6600.

Not forgetting Nokia 6630 comes with a much faster processor compare to 6600.I you're listening to MP3 from headset, it will be a definite stereo unlike 6600.Internal memory will be 10mb compare to 6600.Latest symbian OS 8.0a.

TOP GUN ...E398 cannot do video recording, lousy screen, 0.3 MP... only think nice is 3D stereo sound, but then why not go for decent MP3 player..... Ooops, sorry guys, I shouldn't bring in Motorla in here...

few advantages of N6630 over N6600
                                  1. 1.23 megapixel camera
                                  2. edge
                                  3. wcdma
                                  that's just about it!
N6600 has a camcorder application that can have unlimited video with audio recording and a camera xpro for zooming the videos and pics.
N6630 is just like 6600, 7610, 6670 and 6260 with a few enhancements. nothing special because nokia cannot match a moto e398 and k700i screens. N6630 sound is only mono and not stereo!

Hi, Top Gun, basically yr requirement for upgrading phone is 262 color screen...

I not saying u are wrong, but diff people has their requirement for phone upgrading like:
                                        1) screen 262K which is yr requirement
                                        2) WCDMA
                                        3) EDGE
                                        4) 1.3 MP
                                        5) 1 hour video recording
                                        6) MP3 ring tone
                                        7) Loud sound output
                                        8) stereo sound.
                                        9) etc....

I not trying to be nasty, but to let u understand diff people go for upgrading have their diff point of view.

Not doubt, install 3rd party software do help in certain aspects, well, all up to individual... thanks
