get n70, its (somehow) better than 6680. but comparing to sms writing, then 6680 is your desired phone.

Noone-this phone can take a 512mb memory card. The camera is not too bad-much better than my old SE k700i anyway. The phone is great for me personally, it has a great MP3 player, great functionality and can do everything I want it to.
Why do people constantly rubbish Nokia phones? I work in the mobile industry, and can honestly say that Nokia is the most popular brand of phone sold in the UK. No one cares about LG here-too bulky. The next best manufacturer (IMO) is Sony Ericsson, with the p990.
Don't say phones are bad if you haven't tried them-you're just ruining it for other people who may buy the phone.

Hope this helps all of you out and settles a few scores with a few nokia haters out there.

i'm very said that it's not waterproof. after using a nokia since 1996, and getting the latest model now, i just thought maybe they had made it waterproof.

im from the philippines. i bought 6680 yesterday.. i thought the phone's camera can take high quality picture.. but as i explore those, i noticed that the front camere's stand by mode is okei but as you capture image it becomes blurred and "snowy" i dont know how to describe it but its not really good to look at... theres no diffence if you choose to activate it in night mode. the back camera is also blurred when taking pictures inside our house.. compared to my last phone(7610). 6680 needs to set it in night mode so you can take picture indoor with slight brightness but still its blurred.. im just disappointed coz i sell my 7610 to buy this kind of phone... but if you're going to use the camera outdoor... there's no problem.. its really bright... i hope you can post this.. i know this conatains negative publicity for the phone but im really disappointed...

i have a question re: the front camera, are the images taken really in reverse like from a mirror?
the view from the screen is okay, but upon image capture, it becomes reverse.

I'm thinking of buying this phone (6680) but the mix review here is making me skeptical. Is the battery life crappy and does it reboot/freezes a lot? Can it edit word & excel files? Someone also said that the camera resolution sucks. (1.3 MP = bad???) I'm i better off getting a SE P910i instead. Cheers!

I have a question. I bought my 6680 yesterday and now the battery is empty. I tried to recharge it but I coudn't. I tried even with other Nokia rechargers. Then I rezlized that all the rechargers were tha same. I mean, can 6680 be recharged with a normal nokia recharger or there is specific for 6680.

n6680 uses DV RS-MMC just like n6630. n7610 uses RS-MMC which has the same size as of DV RS-MMC but RS-MMC is not compatible to n6680.

The 6680 is a top quality bit of kit but, it seems to have problems deleting your much loved pics on the memory card. Mines going back it appears to be a common fault, going to try another one.
