hey guys out there,i love this site. its helps me a lot for decision making. first off all, i would like to tell you about my experience in 6680.i was using nokia 6630 for almost a year.generally i thought that there has no defferences between 6630 and 6680. but after changing my ph to 6680,i can say there has major differences, those are:
1.the camera is surely more powerfull than 6630.
2.the display is awasome like n series phones.
3.operating systems versions change 8.0 and 8.0a which is closer to 8.1 used in n70,n90.
4.mp3 player plays real stereo sound comparing with 6630. bcoz 6630's sound was nokia's first trail for stereo sound.
5.speaker is better than 6630.
6.design is very good.frm this phone nokia started using still plate in their cell phones.
7.finally, if u want to buy a nokia smartphone and ur budget is not over $360, then go for it .
at last i wanna know to any users if theres any possibility chage the casing of 6680's like 6630? i know casing quite available in local market.
hey users dont take my opinion as a oppositions talk. i love 6630, its really good ph.
but 6680 is much better one and too close to the n-series.

Thiphone is fantastic:D:D:D, belive it or not i dident like n70 because it operating system is slow and it does support 1 gigs of mmc cuz i am using it,over all i would give 101% ,thxx for electrowireless tec. they really helped me out, check out their site their store is amazing,they have any and every thing a man needs(H),http://www.electrowireless.com/ once again thxx Javed and asher for helping me out with my 6680, really recomanded

May I know if this phone supports 1GB memory cards?
I want to get this fact straight before I buy a memory card.
Anyone knows? Even better, tested it?

I bought 6680 a week back... it's really fantastic... I've tried downloading and installing applications from web. Many of them work fine on my mobile... really an AWESOME phone....

plz help..........im using 6680 and the headset is a fine 1.but when i heard from sony w900 the bass from the earphones of 6680 r not upto it w900...i like to buy a earphone with high bass and clarity....when i checked nokias website im not able to select the right 1..so anybody using a good earphone for 6680 plz post ur opinion or mail me...waiting desperately for ur reply........

I bought the 6680....and it has been awesome.i like SE but it wasn't symbian.i wanted help with the memory of de phone.everytime i use 2 app they say i am out of memory....what is the RAM and speed of 6680....plz help

i got a new Nokia 6680. My problem is, the fonts are so small. Can anyone please tell me how to enlarge the fonts? Please...

Hey Leo,
try putting this in (start>run):
Regsvr32.exe %Windir%\System32\Ole32.dll
i had the same problem it recognizes the phone, but it cant send or receive anything.
just copy paste that line and insert it where i told u to. solved everything here.

Hey guys. I am a SE fan but i want to purchase a smartphone. The cheapest SE smartphone here in Kenya is the p910i at roughly USD$600. I dont want to spend such an amount and so i came acrros the nokia 6680 smartphone at about USD $360. I have read hundreds of reviews, checked out pictures and i love the phone. But i want to know from a 6680 honest user the following? Can you view and edit Ms word, Ms excel, Ms powerpoint etc. I know the phone has quick office applications but are they limited to email, or can i be able to create my own documents. I want a phone which i can use as i move to work on Ms office applications but at a fair price. The SE P910I was my first choice but its expensive, the camera is outdated. The other option would be the SE P990I but i know it will cost a fortune. Kindly reply.

I buy this phone and all is well untill software buggy! 6680 sucks! Nokia sucks!

Thank you Bryan for your help.
Now, I have another problem with my phone.
Suddenly, I can not connect my phone to pc using usb cable. When I plug the cable into my phone, it still recognizes it and the usb's icon appear on the screen. However, it said "No Phone Connected" in the PC suite.
Does anyone experience this problem ? Could you please tell me how to fix this ?
My firmware: V 4.04.07
PC Suite version: 6.7

can anyone plz explain the difference between 6630 and 6680. regarding camera quality, video,sound, relaiblility, hard and software reliability and new or latest firmware of both mobile.

i wonder y the video only can record for 30 second n its a bit lagging..i mean the movement of da person in the video.. n the phone memory really limited... have to delete one message in the inbox to receive another one.. i mean like the song sent via bluetooth..
