hi leo! what you can do is choose the profile that you prefer to use. click on personalize and then on the ringing type choose ringing. however if your phone is in a silent mode, it will only vibrate once if you receive a text message.

hi tebatso! i also have a 6680. the reason why you can't download ringtones is because the phone memory is already full. just to inform you, regardless if you still have enough memory in your memory card, if you don't have sufficient memory in your phone you will not be able to download anything. you have to options to solve your problem. you could either delete some files out of your phone memory or you could transfer the files in your memory card just to give more available memory in your phone. once you receive the file and after you save it make sure you delete the copy of the file in your message inbox. this will also provide more space in your phone memory.
you can also set up your message inbox in your memory card. what will happen is that after you download files, it will automatically be stored as a message in the memory card. of course you still need to save it either in the phone or memory card. do not forget to erase the copy of the file in your message inbox. to set up your inbox, go to messaging, click new message, click on option, click on settings, click on other and then on the memory in use option, choose memory card. however, if your memory card doesn't have sufficient space anymore, you will not be able to download again. also, one disadvantage of this is that you can only view messages stored in the memory card. to view messages stored in the phone, you need to change the memory in use again.

I am having a problem of Phone Memory. the phone say Memery in Use is 9428 kb,Free Memory 500 kb, calender 2kb, contacts 2 kb, documents 44 kb, Documents 180 kb, images,Videos,sound all 0 kb then Messeges 7696 kb
Memory Card
Capacity: 61 MB
Used : 14 MB
Free : 47 MB
So the problem is i cand dowload ring tones it tell me that "Phone Memory Full Delete Some Files"

Hi all,
I just got this fone 2 days ago, so far I cant complain. However, the vibration is so weak, i couldn't recognize incomming call when walking... Could you pleaze tell me how to fix this problem ?

Install the cd PC SUITE or download the latest version on nokia.com plug the usb cable go to pc suite file manager select (6680) then select memory card go to images video or what ever. If you havea sd card slot on youre computer just attatch the clip for th mmc you have and browse files on youre 64 to 1 gigabite reduse size dual volt multimedia memory card copy every thing to computer or copy or drag the mp3s to youre memory card ge Pocket dvd studio for symbian to convert and select the proper resolution to convert a movie dvd to avic with codec_xvid.sis driver with the latest smartmovie 3,0 You can play video clips selected action movie scenes uses of batter quickly so it usage is not realy to watch the titanic but 5 to 10 minutes from 2 to 3 best seanes of youre favorite movies since batteries dies fast. (descktop charger+BATTERIE) look at the previus comments for accesories
PRESS and hold the MENU button to cheeck if applications are still running if you what to save battery life make shure To exit them dount press on red button

hey did you know that with the 6680 unlike other phones symbian can store all the send txt mms and bluetooth or infrared incoming messages mp3 videos pictures pdf notes to the memory card then have to get in messages if you what to save them . since there is only 10 mb internal memory and the v3 has 5 mb thanks to symbian recomend this phone for peopeles that likes things to move efficiency and multytasking running 2 or 3 or 5 applications running (close them one by one it takes battery ...

nokia 6680 is a goog phone but its 1.3 megapixel camera quality is not good.if there is 2.0 megapixel camera the phone is absolutely good.

6680 is an upgrade of 6630. The difference between the two...to which users found disappointment regarding 6680 is its processor. Too slow compare to that of 6630

The nokia 6680 is an excelent phone with wise futures,the sound is very good, the image quality is good compared with the nokia 6630,buy the phone and have fun with it.
