You have bought the RS-MMC card unfortunately. You need to get a RS-DV-MMC as Nokia 6680, N70, N90 is using dual voltage memory (1.3/3.3 v). I'm currently using 512 MB on my Nokia 6680. Wish could use 1 GB or more ...i'm running out of space

What's your next phone .... N80 perhaps ... I'm keeping in close tab on that model. By the way, did you get to test on N70 .. I noticed the smart movie running on N70 more smoother without jerking than running on N6680... Hope to share your view on this

get the 6680, the form factor is better and it has a camera cover, better yet, get the n70, it has a 2 mega pixel cam.

Hello everyone.
Ijust buy the phone for amonth.and itry to upgrade the RS-MMC to 512mb.but the phone cannot read.but i was try with nokia 6260 is fine to that phone, so any one known the about that can help me please.

NOKIA 6680 its a great phone..but I have a problem:
I bought a Kngston MMCM/512MB memory card wich not work.
I tought that could be because I had the old firmware wich came with my pnone.
I went today to Nokia Service Center and they installed the latest Version V4.04.07 22-08-05 RM-36
But the phone still does not recognize the Memory Card. When I go to "TOOLs / Memory" phone says to insert a card. (wich is alredy there)
Can anybody HELP please??

check your settings...
go to messaging icon/ options/settings/other/memory in use...the screen will show: store messages to either phone or memory card. you have to choose mmc to be able to save more sms.

Can anyone help me please?
I've had the phone for a couple of days and think it's pretty great, but recently the messages seem to be playing up. Whenever I receive a text, it says memory full, please delete data ?! I have cleared my inbox and am hardly using any of the memory anyway since it's new so hardly any pictures on it, but I still have a little envelope flashing at the top of the screen until I switch the phone on and off. This is really annoying me and I don't know what to do about it? The 'messages' menu seems to load much slower than the rest aswell.
Can anyone help please?

fab phone, no complaints. Just a quick question. Are there somebody out there that can indicate why when using the 3G phone option, why both parties can't see each other???. only the person phoning is visible. The person receiving the call is'nt visible to the person making the call. Can anybody help???????

yeah, you can change its covers. but you can buy it now in different colors...i've seen bronze/silver, light blue, royal blue and black. casings colors also seen were black and fuscha worth 5 to 6 dollars.

Hi. I have n6680. I listen to mp3 1 hour a day. The dispay brightnes is max.I don't talk more than 10 min per day. I'm always doing something with the phone.
My question is - is it normal to recharge it every single day ? I get up in the morning and the battery is full. I go to the bed in the evening and it's almost empty.

u hav 2 change ur path before recving blue tooth file n the path is message>inbox>setting>other>change mem in use from phone mem to card mem and now recv ur file after recvin again change the path to phone mem

How can I send a file which is more than 10 Megs thru Bluetooth, coz all the files received from Blutooth are stored in Messages and it uses phone memory which is only 10 megs
