oh god .how cud have missed that..
but thanks ..Lx.and sam ...i could not transfer any applications from that 64MB cause they were not visible in the PC suite phone browser..
however u can tranfer any data to and from ur memory card through a pc..i.e. by tranferring the data from card to pc ,then to ur new card..

Well KK, I faced the very same problem initially. The solution is real simple. Most of the applications which come by default in the memory card provided with the phone can be dwnloaded from the nokia website. There problem solved..

Did you transfer other applications on your 64mb card to your new one.

I am thrilled with my 6681..but one problem..the phone came with a 64 MB RSMMC factory supplied with it....there are some applications preinstalled into the memory card like sound installer,quickword,quickexcel..etc and even video editor etc....
now ihave bought a 512MB RSMMC ,and want to use it...so is there any method by which we can transfer those applications from the 64MB card to my new one?
I've browsed through my memory card via PC suite..but these aplications dont show in there...neither when i read the card ,connecting it with a card reader.

Hey tina, would like to help outbut it would help if you elaborate on your problem and thinking about the radio option, well there is absolutely no way you can have a radio installed on your 6681 unless you get yourself the handsfree which has a radio attached.

Hey LX ........ as you said that when you connect you handset to PC to access internet it must show connectivity speed more that 400 Kbps. The Reason Behind this that this is a EDGE compatible handset and when we use a EDGE compatible handset to our PC it shows such speed its not your downloading or uploading or Browsing speed. It shows the max speed that your Computer Port handle. Similarly when we connect a simple GPRS enabled handset to PC it shows connected at 115.2 Kbps as we know that GPRS is slower that EDGE. when i receive a mp3 song from my friend through bluetooth, i save into my memory card, it cant work!it just not work at all, any solution?

thanks rj I guess I will get my firmware upgraded as well The only problem is these guys at the nokia service centre take at least 3days for absolutely anything to do with the phone Thats crap coz I just cant stay away from her She is just too good. And for those guys worried about the colours available for this phone nothing can possibly beat black Its just stunning and yes the white does tend to fade

Just got this phone.. awesome.. a little more complex menu than my 6230, but otherwise, great. stable solid no problems.

Awesome phone! This phone can do it all! So many apps to choose from. Amazing MP3 player. Ability to expand mem (1gb gives you so many options). I have tons of docs, pics, and vids in the palm of my hand. Silver version = sexy. I get so many comments from people. Size is perfect. Very solid keypad. Bright/large screen. Camera is more than adequate. Phone doesn't slow down, even with the MP3 player playing and multiple apps open. I love this phone!
Only bad thing I can say is the rear cover for the camera feels cheap and easily breakable, but there are replacement rear covers available that supposedly strenghtens it.

Top of the Top ! I've just bought it replacing my old 7610. Better and louder sounds, faster application even with 1GB RSMMC ! Nice designed, especially with the silver color. I prefer the silver rather than blue or white. Btw, just to update you guys (Varan and Ix especially), the latest version is 5.37.01. Keep posting !

Thanks Jingboy for telling us about the platform on which the sony ericsson w series works on.I for one surely didnt know about that. Guess that makes the competition between nokia and se all the more intense.

Hello,
I got this phone Nokia 6681 on 1/1/2006.Phone is awsome, it has al features such as Mp3, wav,Amr,Midi support. Voice recording is nice. Screen light is very good, infact sense light signal on top works very good. Till today i never found any problem in this phone. Attched to my Laptop with DKU-2 supplied cable and Bluetooth, both works fine. The most Important Part of tis phone which is not mentioned on any site, Nokia first ever Symbian Phone which actually works as Java when connected to Pc with supplied Nokia Pc Suite.
This is my first Symbian Phone, as i had Nokia 6230 phone before. Nokia made things very easy when they lanched symbian phone works with normal Pc suite and you can do everything which was not possible to do with other symbian Phone Suite provided along with handets.
If i say about Hardware, Phone is very good. and whereas software concern. Nokia really proved that they can make symbian Pc suite also.
