i would like to say something bout the sony ericsson w series phones that many people dont know. se has introduced the extensive jsr platform in the w series which means now onwards its possible to make powerful applications for these models some of em even superior to symbian. its just a matter of time that you will soon start seein se come up with superior applications.

Man I have this phone for about two months now and still it doesnt cease to amaze me. I am just trying the internet speed this gives through the computer and it sure is fast as compared to any dialup connection.It says connected at 460kbps but I am sure it is much lesser in reality but still it is quite fast.Edge is absolutely amazing and so is this phone!!

hi all,
I m using this phone since last 2 months, everything works fine except the bluetooth speed which is very slow compared to other phones. data transfer from this phone to any other phone is just 12KBps. Is it so?

Such A disappointing Phone, I Had It For 6 Month But I ve Always Wanted to Change It And I Finally Did, I Went For K700, The Sound And Lcd Quality Is Perfect But Just Lack In Camera Quality But doesnt Matter (Although unupgradeable mem) AnyWay It Worth I Dont Recommend Nokia Phones IN 60s, You Would Better Go For Se If You Care For The Quality {:-}

hey how come on other websites they say that this phones is 3G and WLAN enabled???? anyone knows for sure????

hey sam, for starters let me tell you this phone rocks although this might be a personal opinion but I do have some very strong points which I have already mentioned earlier to support my stand. Well the sound clarity is amazingly good and adequately loud. I would suggest you to install another player if you want it to be louder. The sound output through the external speakers is monophonic(but still real good) and its mesmerisingly good through the earphones and is polyphonic. But pretty obviously it cant beat the sony ericsson w800i coz the latter is based on the sony walkman technology, so the sound has to be awesome. Even the camera of the sony phone is better being a 2mp one whereas the nokia 6681 is a 1.3mp camera phone. But the nokia 6681 is a symbian phone so you can install a wide range of software on it which you cant on the sony coz it isnt a symbian phone. Bottomline is this phone is a very smart phone indeed.

This phone rocks ... i recently added an 1 GB RS MMC card .... but have faced no slowdowns even with over 700 MB filled ..... i'm really surprised .... the phone feels great .... a keeper for me .... N series can wait .... i already have some apps ported from the N series .. lol ...

This fone hasn't even got a front camera! So this fone is a GPRS model and not a Third Generation, is it?

Hmmm though its Good, For Being Symbian but It Gets Pretty Slow at times, U Can't Run too many applications on it , and The Camera Flash gives a lil yellow effect, with 512 mb card u sure can stroe a lot of stuff, but real player doesnt play .avi 4mat, and last but not least Its not fun listning songs on it as On K750, or W800 the sound is just 1/4th of them,

well I have been using my phone with a 512mb card all this while No the speed is not affected a gr8 deal unless you stuff the phone with just too many videos like I had tried 560videos if I remember correctly. And for anyone who finds the phone to be getting a lil slow, connect the phone to the comp with the usb cable provided and check the phone memory. Make sure to view all the hidden files. The phone keeps a registry of all the stuff that was ever loaded on to it. Just delete all the unwanted stuff with discretion. The phone will work just fine once you have removed all the unwanted files. I was actually planning to upgrade it to a 1gb card. Will keep you guys posted about it as and when that happens. Chao

I've been using this for 4 months and feel confident to state that its awsome and yes Saeed, we can use mp3 songs as ringtones,infact all my ringtones are full MP3 songs and its wonderful to listen to them.

ive been usin this one for 2 months now..thinkin of gettin a larger capacity mem card..does the speed get affectd that much???

This is the best symbian phone ever it's way better than the 6680 because it doesn't have the 3g suport witch makes your phone slower+it has symbian 8.0 second edition witch is very common for flash files...any ways i recomend this phone to any body that likes to have a mini computer in his pocker ....220mhz rock on nokia

hey varun the last time I checked in the nokia showroom the latest firmware was the same as the one you have 4.00.15 Guess you will have to wait till the newer one comes
