I upgraded in Feb'10,within 2 weeks started freezing,heating up.It would not even charge.Sent it back for repair only to do the same thing.Eventually in May'10,phone got new motherboard.What a classic phone.I am so happy and will not part.TAKES beautifull photos and fast internet surfer.HAPPY CHAP

Hi! I bought this phone 6 months ago had some problems in switching it on. Then had the mobile got replaced but having the same problem again within 2 weeks it creates a big question on reliability of nokia.

this is a very good looking phone but has itslimitations . most of all .... even if they have given alot .... the phone is basedon the s40 os. at this range its better to go for 5800 or the n79

I need to no if there is any other phone camera that I can use on a 6700c I was repairing my clients unit and mistakenly I damaged his camera and now the client is talking about lawyers and I can not find a camera for the 6700c please help me. Thanx please reply asap

I live in Canada an... moreI dont think that there is a solution in your problem simply because your "communication providedr" does not support 6700 or Nokia for that matter but if you have other provider why not try to contact them if they support the Nokia products. Secondly, QIK is a video streaming software, as far I as I know only 3gp works for 6700 but try to read the brochure of 6700.

I just got this phone over the weekend. I live in Canada and use the Bell network ( north american bandwith ). Technically the phone is NOT supposed to work on this network, but it is. I had to setup the data connection manually and the MMS settings as well. MMS is NOT working at all even after I did the manual configuration. Also, I'm a big fan of QIK. So i tried to download the application, and keeps saying " CERTIFICATE NOT ON PHONE OR SIM" What does that mean? I've tried calling my operator AND Nokia, but they were no help. Nokia customer service hung up on me after trying to resolve the issue for an hour and a half and my operator just plainly told me they can not help me since it's not a phone they support. Can ANYONE HELP ME!!! PLEASE!!!

I don't see any reason why Nokia didn't include some fancy features like transition effects on this phone when it is already on its 6th edition. They chose to include that feature on the lower midrange handsets like 5130xm & 2730c.
I have already updated my phone's FW to v10.60 and it still doesn't have transition effects :-(
