My bluetooth works perfectly eversince I bought it. I have noticed that European and Southasian country customers have a so much problem with Nokia handsets, I wonder why. Honestly I bought my 6700 in Saudi Arabia as well as my other Nokia phones and so far I did not have any single problem with my handset.

I'm facing problem with my 6700 classic, the bluetooth is not switching on. I have to try it many times to switch it on and only sometimes it works and most of the times it doesn't. I'm really tired of this phone. Can anyone help me out to fix the problem? Think, I need to go back to nokia 6300.

I have use this handset for some days now, bought it for the size and look to be secondary phone to my Omnia HD, it is really a solid peace of handset wiht good sound and must say the old S40 still kicks...and the camera is really nice....has been really god if it has come with the videocall ability...when I use the operator 3 wish have free...videocalls, impressive to use as a usbmodem to laptop really fast! the only limitations wich not affect my choise then I already have officephone in Omnia HD so cant I think of any other handset to be nicer than this :-)

confused, 03 May 2010Any idea if this phone can stand dropping? say table height? Unfortunately I accidentally dropped my 6700 way above the height of a table and hit the concrete stairs twice but so far the only damage is the keypad "ZERO" i have to press a little bit harder than before but everything works fine and no "physical damage" at all.

the reason it is priced so high is because of its steel housing and its 5 megapixel camera with video recording

Hi all, I used this phone for almost 8 months. It is a very nice S40 phone. Really hoping sometime Nokia will upgarde the model to the spec. like 6260 slide (incl. video call and wifi)
However, I still do not know why the GPS of 6700 does not work on google map. Can anybody help? Can the S60 version google map work on 6700? (the S40 version google map does not have "my position" function).

does it have OS? Symbian? and what about pdf, xls or doc? does it know? a gps unit makes no sense without an OS in most cases

I like 6700 very much , but it is priced a bit too much; especially when compared to C5..If you ask me, this phone should be priced at exactly 7000 Rs .
The second thing is the GPS, nokia has made gps navigation free on all s60 devices but 6700, a s40 run gps device would miss out on that..you will have to pay for navigation..
I mean 12,000Rs for 6700 in india.. when the c5 is selling (not released India though) at 8500 rs, and C5 is a smart phone.
