nokia fans, 12 Jun 2010pls advice if the loudspeaker is loud for ringing tone and ... morehey the loudspeakers improved and clear .and the battery is BL4-CT it last for 3 to 4 days .and 2 days if using gprs/edge.

n96 has CPU Type: ARM 9
CPU speed: 264 MHz
but nokia 6700 slide has CPU Type: ARM 11
CPU speed: 600 MHz much faster than n96 and n97 so 6700 is of gr8 speed

symbian phone can be made efficent by clearing the phone internal memory (use *#7370# to reset phone , type this in ur numeric keypad and phone just asks for the lock code enter it and phone restarts erasing all internal memory *phone contacts(not sim) , messages (not sdcards) , and other data) just donot install anything on internal memory(like apps) . And donot keep more apps running in background(this will slow any phone) .If these instructions r followed your phone is allways at its max speed .

Can someone let me know what they think of the S60 OS on this phone please? I had an N96, my first experience of the Symbian OS and it sucked!! It was unbelievably slow, I returned it in less than 48 hours. How quick is this phone compared to say the 6500 slide?

My dear sir I have obtained a Nokia 6700 c wich is not aslide it has place for two sim cards I am currently using a vodacom sim and a mtn sim saves me carrying two phones I like it very mutch but cant get it to work on the internet because there is no settings for it

I just feel sad that SE J10/20 need to re-enter everytime.

i've bought thise phone and its really awesome !
great design with friendly OS...
5MP camera produce the good image quality..
one thing disadv, its camera doesnt has a cyber shot...
when i try capture the image, its hard to captured when not in a good side..
but nice phone already...
love it ! :D
