I don't think so. Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 family of processors is reserved for high end devices. In 2017 Nokia was just testing the market. 2018 will bring better devices fairly priced.Even high end devices should not be more than $600. Nokia already mentioned that it doesn't want to compete with Apple and Samsung in general and in US, which means that only few devices will be seen in US. The rest of the world will get devices that are cheaper but with quality. Competing with Chinese brands is obvious so I don't think that Nokia will get that greedy when it comes to pricing. Also they need to prove themselves since they have been out of business of making phones for few years. Secondarily Nokia is in trouble with the sale of networking devices so they need steady and long term income. HMD is paying royalties for every device that they sold. They don't want to make same mistake that they did in mid and late 2000's with cellphone OS and general celphone production. So at least in next two years we should be able to enjoy good quality phones that are fairly priced. After that we will see which ways the wind will blow.
