My phone was sent to service for 2x in a row after using for 3months. I need to reload all my apps & resetup each time. It just keep hanging up & cannot power up. Was informed by service center that they detect inside the circuit board a bit moist even I didn't drop it into water except that I was caught in the rain with the handphone in my pocket. Now I don't have confident with Nokia phone. Service center also told me that they had to void my warranty despite it is just about 5months in use cause they had replaced most part of the phone.

I have had this phone (X6, 6gb variant) 1year and 10months. Cosmetics still very beautiful, battery life good; I haven't experienced any real issues with the phone yet, I have managed to handle it with upmost care. I read so much about the defective charging port during prepurchase and decided I will be careful when charging it. I only charge when it is almost completely drain, then try to minimise usage during charge time.
Now into the 22nd month of use, I'm beginning to experience minor issues like periodic lag, about thrice in a day, the screen just freezes for 15 seconds. Also, the factory camera app has become incredibly poor, pictures are now very terrible and comes out below par compared to what they were like at 15months. In a nutshell, it is basically useless now. Gcam has helped to take good pictures but with a lot of limitations, the mod is not stable at all, should I try to tweak basic settings such as zoom, mode, brightness etc the shuttle will refuse to click and I have to restart the phone to be able to use it on it default mode and settings. I HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP ME WITH A STABLE AND FUNCTIONAL GCAM MOD OUT THERE. PLEASE, DROP THE LINK.
Phone still very functional and I guess subtle issues I have so far came with updates; most get fixed. I have planned to use this phone 5 years without frustrations, then only do I consider Nokia and HMD Global have served me well.

I work up, early in the money only to see my phone off ,though battery was 84% before sleep. It's been 4days now and phone is still off even after charging for 4hours . Please any help

Actually this phone (already used about 2years, till now) quite worthy for low-range phone (seems sdm 7 series changes to mid-range). From camera good enough if using gcam mod, battery capacity enough for heavy task in daily use (internet/browsing, working, music/spotify, but no game).
On middle November this year just repair the battery. Seems some cell already weak, but battery conditions not bloated. And yes, the charging pin in board is very weak, so i decide to strong it with glue.
With my investigation looks like charging port issue happen because user to strong to push the cord in port.
About OS, for android 9 latest firmware/OTA incremental is good for performance and battery, for android 10 quite smoothy and stable (not so fast like pie-based my experience) but don't expect about battery.
However this device shown the prove if support 3 OS, from 8 till 10, hope still possible for 11.
Another bad thing, they don't provide official unlock bootloader. Shame....:(

I was looking for some answers regarding wireless support about this phone, and I stumbled upon this website, knowing that I am not the only one having a problem about the charging port, after a year and a half using this phone, charging became unusual, at first I thought the charger cable was the problem so I bought a new usb c type cable, and still it didn't solve the problem, so I was about to buy a wireless charger knowing that the phone's port is the problem, and saddly, it doesn't support wireless charging. Damn, I should've researched more about this phone. Now I'm planning to buy a new phone, no more nokia for me.

Ferdy, 01 Nov 2020I have sell this phone because of the charging port issues.... morelmao bro i tried it and it still had the same issue so i had to put a sellotape to make it strong and i used it like that for about 2 months then the problem started again and since then i've been using something to support my phone while it charges but well i really dont regret buying the phone but it was fun while it lasted p.s i'm getting the redmi note 9 pro(global) soon(next year) hope it's worth the buy.

I'm using these mobile from one and half years ...I just love these mob...everthing was best ...6 gb ram works fine...after one year I got charging port loose cantact issue ...low light photo are really bad ...after flash light off it clicks photo ...

Charging port issues after 1.7 years. The phone is great, I binged youtube, kdrama straight while OTP and it can last about 8-9hrs, not laggy. Working fine, 2 weeks after upgrading to Android 10 the screen suddenly bug and went crazy, opened apps and called people randomly, dead screen on certain area.

Buy it at you're own risk, Yes it isa good phone, but it has a defected charging port, you can search it up as well and many users who have bought it have experienced this issue, the phone can overheat alot as well at times to the point you're hands might burn. First glance was pretty nice but later, I hate this phone, I have had it for 6 months and every month I have to pay 10$ just to get its charger to work again I gave it to my cousin.

Please no body should buy this Nokia 6.1 plus phone, I bought this phone and less than 1 month my phone stopped charging, I sent the phone to the Nokia service center and they told me to pay money before they fix the fault
