I have it and it's a really great phone. To begin with, it's good looking, pretty much the coolest phone i've ever seen. Secondly, it has a lot of power under its hood, with 1ghz cpu, NFC and symbian belle. The display is also superb, great sunlight readability and it looks great overall. The colours are very vivid. Oh, and i downloaded skype from nokia store, it works.

Nokia 700 have fixed focus camera.

Buy Nokia 603 over Nokia 700, because 603 is a faster than 700, also 700 battery timing is very poor too.

Anonymous, 20 Feb 2012I have skype in my nokia 700 n it work perfectly How did you get Skype onto your Nokia 700? when I enquired, the answer came back that it was not compatible with the Symbian Belle operating system and because Nokia is moving to Windows, there seemed to be no plans to upgrade the software to enable Skype. So if you have the secret, share it with us please...

Good phone but nokia 603 is better option, becoz 603 large screen, bright screen, cheap, fast, battery timing is very good, dont waste your money just buy 603 over 700.

My Phone Memory shows (Zero - 0 bytes free of 356 MB).
I bought this phone two back and not installed any new application on it. please need help to solve the problem.

The iPhone and a bunch of high-end Android phones could also be considered 'better', as indeed could the 701 and the Lumina 800 depending on the criteria you use for 'better'
Still, feel happy that you've got the 'best phone on the planet' if that's what you want...

- very small
- very good build quality
- display has excellent daylight visibility
- very good WiFi performance
- good network reception and fast 3G download speeds
- interface is pretty good (though some niggles) and Nokia are promising ongoing upgrades including Carla
- can change battery and fit memory card yourself
- free offline maps & navigation
Bad points:
- camera not auto-focus so cannot take pictures of documents or other close-ups
- battery needs recharging every day or every two days
- not as many apps as for iOS and Android. very few games
If you want a *very small* touchscreen smartphone then it's between the Nokia 700 or the SE Xperia Ray. If you don't mind something bigger then there are lots of choices

Maybe your operator is blocking it - have you tried it with WiFi data connection instead of 3G?

There's also a new DNLA application available called 'Nokia Play To' which has just become availabe as well
