This is one kick ass phone! I got everything I want for a reasonable price. I recently updated it and when I listened to the Dolby sound it rocked me! One of the best Nokia phones ever and I'm completely satisfied.

plz dnt upgrade reset ur 701, once u upgrade ur cell it jst stars givng problems, jst hanging on, jst getng switch off will browsing, or while makng a call, This same happen with me, FUCK i Just Killed my cell with a 1 click Thats UPGRADE.......and the service they gave me was the WORST One.....20days for it...an jst dont try to Reset ur phone by daillng those keys above ma commentss...

i still believe this phone is good and so is d fp1 update..most important is you do the update procedure properly... AVOID any hard reset by pressing the four button cos it will write off your essential file installed by Nokia. For hard reset press*#7370# only. ..dont do hard reset unlees its critical .Do maintain proper backup of your data. Carefull with 3rd party apps.

To all of you who stil think do they whana bay 701 i will tell you now what hapend whit my 701.Body of 701 is so strong that one day it felt under the TRAKTOR WHEEL and survived,the only damage wos on the display one black spot of 1 sm ,tuch wos not broken only display damaged,after that i have changed display upgraded to FP1 from pc nokia suite ,and now my nokia is TURBO FAST more beter then befor,i just love this 701.
At the end i whana say 1 masage to all DROID lovers out there.....nokia 701 kickass

soft reset made no problems like phone bricking.
I updated to fp1 ota using wifi and 28mb of download took 1 hour. Strange that wifi was only connected to my mobile and no other device. It took alot of time applying update aswell. Maybe 20 mins.
Please confirm that high bitrate movies stop after changing position of seek bar. If no than i will reinstall my firmware.
Nokia have launched the way to reinstall fw and nokia care must have got trick to fix all you people devices. I am surprised no tried flash there phones to fix em themselves.

At least its what nokia recommends. Well sometimes. But don't reset your phone after belle fp1 update. I'll likely get mine back this week
