I can see some dots on my screen but cant really tell if... morehey ...me also experiencing the same with my 701 i can see tiny dots on my phones screen dont noe whether they are dead pixels or just dust particles but i just dont like them at alll on my phones screen i want to get rid of them any idea .... I dont think so that it can be dust particles because i had scratch guard from the first day itself......

1. A dead pixel on the display... more1. I can see some dots on my screen but cant really tell if they are dead pixels ( they can be dust particles , experienced it on my X6)
2. Ovi music icon and app both are loading
3. Ovi store's YouTube doesn't work ... ( many users have reported that in the ovi store )
4. It plays 720p but not 1080p ( only audio in 1080p, no video )

AnonD-38095, 28 Jan 2012701 users please state here how is yr experience of the btr... moreI had the same problems with the battery and deleted therefore several problems to find out what is draining the battery. One of the worst programms was the crappy Whatsapp messenger. And I changed the background to a dark one. Now the battery last about 2 days, and that is great for a smartphone.

some problems I'm facing:
1. A dead pixel on the display in the form of a dote on any plain colour white, blue etc.
2. Ovi music icon not loading.
3. I updated youtube from ovi store and now it is also not looading..
4. I downloaded a 720p & a 1080p video and neither of them is playing.
You guys also check and tell me if u r also having the same problem.

701 users please state here how is yr experience of the btry bakup??? My phones starts diminishing within 30 minutes..and such a frightning btry and pathetic btry on the world's brightest phone...just disgusting.

nokia 701 have update on nokia but when i try to update it from my phone over air it says no update do any one know whats goin on

According to ICNIRP the maximum permissible SAR value is 2.0w/kg in europe and 1.6w/kg in austrailia,India and others.why nokia changed the SAR value to 1.08w/kg on sar.nokia.com for nokia 701.earlier it was 0.69w/kg.Has nokia done any changes to the transmitter of newer 701 models or is there any other reason?
Which SAR value is correct for this smartphone???

sar.nokia.com reported SAR level of 0.69w/kg for 701 model but user manual still reports this value. However, on sar.nokia.com it was recently changed to 1.08w/kg.Though it's still below the stated guidelines by ICNIRP but it's above average for a smartphone.
Phone packaging guide states a SAR value of 0.69, same as stated on the product support at http://europe.nokia.com/ support/product-support/701/guides and the corresponding country websites of nokia.Only sar.nokia.com reports a different value which has been changed recently?why???

hi i got this mobile a month b4 ..great..good battery backup.....suprb mobile...1ghz processor and 512 ram is great 4 nokia belle...if nokia put 1.4ghz processor..and one gb of ram that ll beat android in speed..want swype on next nokia os...and one thing this mobile screen beats all screen..
