afzal ahmed , 21 Jan 2012i not getting fring software in nokia store can u plz updat... moreFring is not supported in Nokia 701. I did the same mistake of buying it before checking if fring is compatible. then realised that fring does not work on 701.

The task manager was showing that all apps were closed but then i took your advice and downloaded netqin mobile security .. Then i closed every app and it stopped popping up ...I thinking to take it to the nokia care centre ...Thanks

AnonD-8002, 20 Jan 2012My Nokia 701 has problem with wifi. It is connected with wi... morewifi connectivity depends on wifi signal strength...so just check connectivity being near the wifi source or router. If ur fone opens websites there then I think no problem with ur fone.

AnonD-24173, 21 Jan 2012Guys I have a problem .. Whenever i switch mobile data and ... morepop up coming regularly means there r app running in the background that run on internet. Just install netqin mobile guard or antivirus and use the proses of system optimisation to close background apps. Some apps like social networking facebook start when we switch on the phone and they need internet connection..& when not found poping up appears.

well nokia 701 is even better than 710 lumia bec of better functions and battery is never prob if u use it with gsm not dual mode it gives u 17 hrs talk time imagine....

Guys I have a problem .. Whenever i switch mobile data and wifi off a box appears on the top of the screen saying 'mobile data off no connections available' .. and it keeps on popping at the top of the screen .. Any solutions ?

its happy ending from nokia coz symbian is over now nokia will take care of windows phones nokia 701 is great but i hope nokia release update to fix battery draining

I have Nokia 701 , that is very nice special internet zooming with opera mobile 11.5 ,but I have a problem when work the internet the charge of battery is discharging very quickly during 6 hours or 5 hours
please tell me what the treat of this problem?

hi my old mobile is samsung wave 2 ...i hate that mobile ...when i use package data battery dry in two hours even is 2g nw.. But i love my 701 now...solid battery backup...for a day use...

its nice phone the only thing is i wonder why the price went down it very near to c7 price and the front body is not all steel like in c7
