Nokia 701 is really nice device...no hanging no faults no any other problems..i m using thins phone and it is excellent in all fields...it is really bad that some people r discouraging buyers..:(..nokia's reliability r fabulous..go for nokia and enjoy nokia..

[deleted post]Please also check if you have F secure installed. This anti virus will cause the web surfing to slow down, device to restart due to the firewall. could be another reason why the files couldnt go thru bluetooth

I know this piece is the same with c7, I mean the design and some hardware features but guys, is there anything that c7 has which the 701 lacks?

Enough of this shit about lagging/hanging, like hell all mobile set does that. now coming to that Bluetooth stuff, my only advice to u guys is to check ur piece before taking it home. Back here in Nigeria, we are given 48 hrs to test it after which the companies policy kicks in. Some of u are lucky to see mobile stores that give 7 days.
I don't mean to say u are lying but that guy that said has a picture of the phone before it was taken to Nokia care and after they returned it, how did u snap it before taking it to Nokia coz I know u took it to them that same day...? And u were too excited when u bought the piece that u were going through it, exploring. Good Heaven, no one will find time to be snapping a piece he would be using for a long time in that short hours u spent with it.

I have 360 MB of free space in c and 5.8 GB of free space in mass storage. So i am dam sure there is absolutely no problem with free space.I suggest you to check if there is problem with the Bluetooth in the shop itself before u get it to your home with you. I still hope this is only a piece specific problem and not all the devices.

AnonD-23749, 22 Oct 2011 For everyone here who are doubting my credentials and m... morehello sumanth, i completely agree with u.nokia sevices are worst.they don't know how to deal with customers and handle a celphone.same thing happened to me 4-5 years back when i bought nokia n73.there was a manufacturing defect in its joystick,i handed it to care people and they returned it to me after a month and though they did't replace the joystick and replaced the metal plate underneath the screen.someway i got managed to replace the joysytick but after 3 months of use,it's loudspeaker stopped working..i again went to nokia care.they really don't handle a phone with care at all.they replaced the speaker but keys 3,5,7,8 stopped working.i was fed up and went to a local mobile shop and got it repaired from there.but last year bought a nokia c6 from mobile store and there was a problem in its display(some vertical white lines blinking on the screen from left to right),i showed it to the mobile store dealer.they provide 7 days replacement policy,they asked me to get a jobsheet made from nokia care with this screen problem written,then only they can replace...i did as they told and deposited a copy of jobsheet to mobile store,so they immediately replaced my handset and gave me another one which was fine and now it's been 11 months and my c6 is still working without any problems.now im planning to buy nokia 701 after "nokia event" but don't know whether i would be getting a problem free handset or a defective one.hope that i won't get this bluetooth problem.anyways, what file size did u send to ur 701 over bluetooth and at that moment what amount of free phone memory and mass memory it had?
