loudspeker performace is below avearage as per GSMarena review
i cant beleive this, why nokia phones loudspeaker is always weak, we cant able to hear in market places.
rest the phone is mind blowing!

AnonD-26581, 18 Oct 2011have u tried sending mp3 or images using bluetooth,and 701 ... morei have tested every other thing and every thing works fine except receiving VIDEOS ( only ) through Bluetooth, u can go for this mobile .. i guess they ll release another firmware fixing all these issues .HOPE SO

1. attach a pendrive and then copy video files to and from pendrive.
2. Fm transmitter
3. memory card slot
4. wifi
5. usb charging
6. 3.5 mm audio jack

again it's a software issue,,,hope it will be resolved on next firmware update.plz tell me if ur bluetooth problem gets solved.

Nokia care people could not resolve it and so they have sent it to nokia head quarters.its been 18 days since i bought the phone and i have not used it even for an hour.i didn't yet receive my phone till today.hope my problem will be solved

hi dudes , i have recently found a bluetooth prb in this mobile .can u guys too check it out in ur 701 . >>> try to send any video file( any size) from ur lappy or other mobile devices into ur mobile and after 4% receiving or so it ll stop . .even nokia care guy could not fix it up even after re-installing os its the same. please post me ur reply after trying it

XoX, 16 Oct 2011Guys are u still facing problems with hd games like nfs shi... moreit don't support Hindi font hang a lot i bought this phone on 8th Oct but today my phone is in service center because it is not starting. it is dead it may be possible it happens with my phone only. its cam is good, sound on ear phone excellent. video qlt is great.i day battery backup.

AnonD-26581, 17 Oct 2011this could be an issue due to corrupt system files or setti... morethanks dude for ur valuable reply . i have called to nokia customer care they asked me to RESET FACTORY SETTINGS and see if that prb still persists they have asked me to format like what you have told. i have reset factory settings so far its gng good if it repeats again i ll format it..

Here is a little review of this phone from me :)
* Browser
-the browser improves alot, with it's text reflow it is now easy to read text. Fast panning..But sometimes it is a bit clunky with heavy pages. But overall it is a good browser now.
* UI
- i love the UI now. Im in love with the UI with it's eye candy :) and it is very smooth :)
* Performance
- good battery backup it lasted 2 days on me. regular texting only. Im using 2G mode only. Never tried on 3G mode
- Good reception/signal
- No Lag on HD Games.
- Good Camera, even though other says that EDoF camera is a bad camera. But im just a regular guy, i want to take a snap and i get a good picture :)
Cons
- Less apps on Nokia Store. I hope developer's will support Symbian Platform..
it's the only cons that i notice on this phone.
But in the end it's your preference that really matters.

i brought nokia 701 3days ago,...nice ph , very fast , belle os is good,camera is fine...everythings is very good.i am very happy with this,my first smartphone.
But i faced one problem to playing video,some video videos are playing very good,display is osum! But some videos plays but says 'audio not supported',some mp4 r plays some plays only audio.i load some movie,but it says file corrupt :(
not know wht to do,without this video prblm everythings is okey....

Nokia 701 is a very good phone.But the asking price for the phone is way too high.With that money,lets say even lesser you get phones like Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo...I'm a very big Nokia fan,always used one and thats why I share my View..
.Never the less Nokia is Dumping Symbian anyways...Saying To continue support Symbian untill 2016 is just a formality...and switching to Windows phone 7 wont be fruitful for Nokia either,atleast for me.So I'm unwantingly moving on to other OS...and if anybody says I'm a Nokia hater and putting false impression on the brand,I dont know what I'm gonna do,I'ma get real violent...cuz I'v used Nokia phones all my life...and don't talk about N9,the OS is already dead even before seeing this world.
Nokia is acting Dumb,dumping Symbian...and Dont blame Symbian.Nokia could've introduced Symbian^3 long before when other OS's were buckling up,but no they were lazy enough not to do that and now with Symbian Belle when they are right on track...Symbian is on the way out

This device is true value for money.got it 7 days back and what a performance.fast and better than every device in the same range.Nokia has done itthis time.Many of my frd are already bookig the same.I didn't get any issues which some are raising.i think they are jealous android fans.

Tell us !... moreafter using continuously 5-6 hrs gprs/internet your connectivity will failed. it will show you error (connection failed). it will be resolved only after restoring factory settings. but again after 5-6 hrs same problem will arise. apart from this my phone is continuously getting hanged. care people now sent this phone to Bangalore office.

AnonD-25569, 17 Oct 2011os gosh !! is it a virus attack ! my mobile started to rest... morethis could be an issue due to corrupt system files or settings mismatched. you can hard reset your 701 by just typing *#7370#. hard reset restore your phone operating system , it format your phone c drive and delete all data from your phone. to hard reset your phone press
*#7370#. after typing this code. the phone will ask to confirm reset, of you confirm than press yes.
important: hard reset erase all data from phone and memory card, so don't forget to back up your data before hard reset..probably this would solve your problem...reply me aftewards
