Well, I think the user was pointing that out because the specs here say it *did* have a 2.5mm jack. (I have no idea if that's right or wrong, but if it's wrong then the site's data is inaccurate.)

Design was one of its kind back in those days, now look at all the boring slabs we have, except some foldables of course.
