actually if u look on the siemens s65 review, the nokia 7610 has a MUCH better camera even though the s65 has 1.3, but nokia is much better, and this fone is not useless compared to nokia 6630, the only difference is is that it has one hr of video capture and a 1.3 megapixel camera, but no1 really is going to need 1hr of video capture and 1.3 mp is not that much better than one megapixel, and the nokia 6630 is bigger and thicker and more expensive, plus the design is tooooo basic, 7610 looks much nicer in real life anyway :p

I`ve never really liked Nokia, but this seems like a good phone, but I`ll much rather buy the siemens s65 with 1.3 mega pixels camera!!! And it looks 10 times better!!!

hahaha, you should all wait for 6630. This phone is useless compared to that.

I got mine on orange (OVP with T-mobile everyone 100). It was £70 for phone and £21 a month (time before you can switch to lower tariff - 6months)
Assuming you switch to £15 a month tarif after 6 months - the total cost will be £70 (intial cost) + £126 (6monthsx£21) + £90 (6months x £15) = £286 which gives you 6 months of 100 min a month and 6 months of 30min and the phone is yours to keep at the end for a total of £286.

The only bad thing about this phone is there is no stereo headphones for MP3 player. Which means you can only ever listen to MP3 music in mono. Thats bad quality sound. Other than that though I say it is a flawless phone. Nice looks and features!

Well i got mine on a contract, which includes 120mins a month (any network/anytime), and overall will cost me about £280 for the year!
That was from directmobilephones.co.uk
So don't you 'ha ha' me. It is generally a better deal on a contract, because the phone is subsidised. What use is a phone if you have to pay loads for calls? Better to get loads of included mins for only a little bit extra!

So what if one is symbian and one is not? Why does that automatically mean that they can't be compared?
I think what decides if they are comparable is the fact that they are both geared towards the same kinds of people. They features that can be directly compared - mp3/video/photos/games.

Ok, my last point - I think the 7610 is superior to the k700 becauase of:
1)2 years worth of releases of symbian software to customise it.
2)1 Megapixel camera (yes I really think the quality is superb)
3)Nokia Ngage games are playable (I would compare these to Gameboy Advance quality an d speed.
4)Classy design (debatable, I know)
I believe the customisation aspect makes up for any negatives, as if you don't like how the built in 'realplayer' - you can get something else to play media. The phone certainly has a fast enough processor (130Mhz?) to run video/music well. Same applies to alarm etc.
Those are my reasons anyway. I'm not interested in mp3 playability - as I don't think that is a real issue in any case - how many mp3's can you put on the k700? Even if you put the '10' that someone said they could - you don't have much space for anything else! (photos, themes, games etc!)
So I think that is a irrelevant aspect of the K700.
I'm sure you'll beg to differ, but you must agree that the reasons above are good enough to choose the 7610 over the k700.
I am willing to debate anything!

freakybaskins is rite, both sony ericsson and nokia are both very good mobile phone companies, so why argue when we can share the technology and admire eachothers.

hey people, dont just bullshit se, BOTH NOKIA AND SE ARE KOOL CELL COMPANIES, u cant simply go ahead and compare a t610 with a n7610, atleast let both the mobiles u r comparing to be symbian..!! see, u gotta admit that p800,p900,p910, all symbian se mobiles are simply unbeatable, i dont have any hard feelings for nokia, actually saying i love nokia but just cant see people bullshitting other companies just because of there bad choices while buying a mobile, ie if u were already a mobile freak then u should have opted for a symbian rather than a t610 and bullshit it later on.. see, t610 is an awesome mobile IN ITS CLASS AND CANT BE COMPARED WITH THESE MOBILES,
personally saying, i own both n6600 and p900, and i got to admit, both are gud for there price, 6600 is gud for its low price and vast application range, and p900, ITS IN A DIFFRENT WORLD ALLTOGETHER, ACTUALLY SAYING THE BEST ON EARTH(obiously after p910), regards-freaky
