C.P Aggarwalla, u dont need infrared on the nokia 7610 because anything that can be done on it can be done on bluetooth

This deosn't sound bad
10 min of video recoding, megapixel camera, & mp3. I think those are most important features in any phone. But am not sure about paying £400 for it... Isn't that a bit too much for any phone.

People lately are starting to degrade this great website opinion web site.............

I totally agree with Maical you must consider the way you would be using the phone if you like an intelligent stuff or wanna give it a try this phone is gonna fit in otherwise, SE K700i would be interesting.

They r not same class mobile phones and the price diference is like 150$ between them. 7610 is better from a mile away because it has megapixel camera, symbian operating system (this makes it a smartphone) and expandable memory thrue rs MMC cards. So, 7610 is a lot better, but cannot be compared to k700 which is a multimedia phone, not smartphone like 7610.

I have had the pleasure of owning this phone for the past month and have both the black/red and white/black covers. Firstly the phone is amazing, it has everything you could wish for, 1M camera,applications that can be downloaded, games that are the best around and a quality screen if not to name a few. As for it being for gays then you people need to get out more often into the real world. I work for a very large/famous software company and we have just be issued with these phones, I am 110% not gay I can assure you all, unless you call being in bed with 2 women a bit strange. Yes women at work and outside do like the phone and find it very easy to use, but I find this always works in my favour as when ever I am out on the town I get some women coming onto me and asking about it, which is a great way of breaking the ice. Guys go for it, there is nothing gay about it and probably most of the people on here calling it gay will be the ones sitting on their own in the corner of a nightclub whilst you have an army of women around you. Envy is a terrible thing. Ha Ha

7610 is an awesome phone.. i own one myself and aside from whatever everyone says it is the best fone. if u guys cant buy it dont bad mouth it.. it has all the features and the ones who think this is a gays fone u jus take care about how much a gay are you? jus chk ur gfs .. then tlk further

7610 is a phone created by a group of gay nokia designers. for gays, by gays. by the way jasmine, happen to see the photos your boyfriend took of HIS BOYFRIENDS? haha that'll shake the relationship a bit. only poofs use this phone, if you're too gay to admit it, GO BUY ONE, and watch as the gay guys start hitting on you.

I have owned a Nokia 7610 and I think it is an outstanding phone. But some people here need to get over themselves if they think this is a girly phone. I am a girl but my boyfriend loves my phone he never gives it back, also a lot of guys at my University are getting this phone on contract and they all have girlfriends. (Gay phone, pfffft, pleeease. Is Samsung E700 a gay phone too? Because all the straight guys own them at Uni. They are great phones thats why). Some people *do* have style, you don't have to be gay to have style... Anyway it is an amazing phone, I love it. The photo quality is amazing, my boyfriend put one of my photos onto our PC and my god it is CRYSTAL clear. The video recording isn't that great but I have no use for that. MP3 I will admit is quite bad, but not VERY bad, it doesn't matter unless you want a phone that can play music in stereo. I think the MP3 is satisfactory to my preferences. The text messaging is very good, the bluetooth voice dialing aspect is genius, and the design is very stylistic and trendy. And I hate those comments about Sony Erricson P900 being a technofreak phone. Sure it is like a swiss army knife phone but I think people reserve the right to buy the phone they like.
NOKIA 7610 I give a perfect 10/10 score.

Hey Wil, I seem to have hit a raw nerve there eh?? Not quite ready to come out yet?? Actually, if you'd get your head out of your ass you'd see that this is an opinion board, and that's what I gave. You don't like that, well tough! The only advantage this has over the more unisex looking 6600 is a slightly better camera. Big deal, go buy a real camera, or is that too obvious for locker-room use?
By the way, I work with both mobiles and PCs and don't rate the P900 at all. I can buy a PocketPC with WiFi AND a top of the range phone for less than the price of a ridiculously over-priced and under-spec P900.
So in summarly, 6600=great phone but a touch large. 7610=well, I'm sure you know how I feel by now, 6230=great phone, very average (65k colour) screen, K700, overrated with poor battery life and the silver trim around the screen comes off and look nasty, Sendo X, can't wait to try one. Best phone around..hmmm...tough oe, but certainly not the 7610 if you're a bloke who cares what signals you're giving off. Just my opinions...get over it!

7610 is the best phone on the market, what ever it doesnt do, you can get symbian software to do! When I arrive at work it knows where I am and goes on to meeting mode, when I leave it goes loud! Plays just about every format using different software (codecs AVI, DivX, XVid, RM, MOD, SP3M, C64 Sid) WICKED! Great clear screen. Only lacks Radio & InfraRed, but when you can fit 400 songs on a 512 RSMMC, WHO CARES! Games are UNBELIVABLE!

with the exception of the 7610, nokia has b enn churning out craps for all of us...even the new models comes with 128 x 128 screen n 4096 colors!! this is ridiculous!! other (especially sony ericcson) are coming out with better designs, better n larger screens , n 65k or even 256k color!! i've used both n okia n se, and the only thing nokia has going for it is the stability n reliability...se ...siemens all all less stable , hangs frquently, auto shutdown etc
