its true tt 7610 is slow.. but maybe is becose u guys didnt update e programme.. anyway i still prefer 7610 to 3230..

Go to SETTINGS -> Phone -> Display> Brightness....
you can not make the phone faster....
no distribution list

yup, 7610 is really slow...
that's the consequence....
you can not create subfolders on the main menu... you can just add folders on the menu but not subfolders....
the system of 7610, is really slow....
that's why i bought a new phone, well i still have this one.......
your previous choice, 3230, is quite faster than 7610

hey thanks for all ur support! so i'm the owner of a 7610 now!!! hey but i do have some basic questions again! and i hope that ur gonna help me again as u did last time! so can we create sub folders in a main folder in nokia 7610? and in my mobile the messing system is really slow! messages r sent to other mobiles after a lonnnnnnnnng time whereas i receive messages from others as soon as they send it . does that mean that there is a prob in my mob? also it looks like its very slow? is it? can u pls help me out this as well!

Hey guys please help me out.
I bought a Samsung D720 which uses the same Symbian OS v7.0s, Series 60, licenced from nokia. There are not much info or support for samsung symbian, so i need your help. It has the same functionality as of Nokia7610/6670.
How do you use the voice command..??..this is my 1st symbian and im lost. The specs says it has active voice calling.Where do I go menu to find the option? Is it hiding somewhere?

to ALI: yes they can work on the 7610...

to SUNNY: if i where you if you're into the design of the phone CHOOSE 7610..
if you're into the functions get 3230..
3230 has stereo radio
7610 dnt have radio...
both have mono output on the mp3 being played..
3230 you can use stereo headset
7610 you cant use headset....
for the camera quite the same except for bigger resolution on the 3230

hey sunny,the difference between 3230 and 7610 is the camera,shape and infrared.3230 has a 1.3 megapixel camera whereas 7610 has a 1 megapixel camera.3230 has a infrared port and this one doesn't have.Now its up to you to decide.good luck.

This was my 6th phone & the 2nd symbian phone after nokia 6600.
Got this one in Oct 2005 by exchange of my old 6600.
The features are quite similar to 6600, barring the megapixel camera & the infrared was gone.
The design blew me off & I selected this one over a more powerful nokia 6630.
The camera was good in its class, givign em decent quality photos & it had nice voice clarity, excellent signal strength, which is a tragemark of nokias.
After I used a symbian phone, now i cant imagine gettin other type of phone. Man i can do anythign with it. surf web usign opera, i can read & edit MS office files, view pdf, its more like a mini laptop.
The keyboard layout is a bit odd, and i took a few weeks to get used to it. But after that it was just fine. Also i found that the " * " key was very hard to press in my piece. To locking the keypad was always tough.
I had installed smartmovie player & also mp3 player to this phone had become a mini entertainment system to me. I also got a 512 MB card to install all the goodies in it.
I was extremely happy with 7610, till Feb 2006, which was when I went to a phone shop with a friend & saw Nokia N70......I was too tempted by it & eventually got it same day in the evening.

is great and best phone for me, i was stil upset since it been stolen last week!Beware when you shopping in MidValley(Malaysia)!
