And months later, the random reboot battery issue (seems the voltage is below minimum). The phone itself like a 50 : 50 lottery. This HMD global can't revive nokia phones at all, until today.

I sell my old huawei phone just to buy this one when it gone to sale. it just made me regret a lot.

      As much as I like Nokia, I absolutely don't recommend it. DON'T buy it!
      At first i had a problem with the network, when it was connecting to mobile data, the network kept connecting and disconnecting. After a lot of time sent on chatting with their support, i had to send it to them and they send the motherboard. It was in warranty so no expenses on my side, if you don't take into account all the time without a phone, and all the frustration.
      Now, i have anther of them issues that are HW based, it starts blinking, and after a while, half of the screen shows glitches (random colored pixels), then it has moments when nothing lights up in the screen. I can barely use it. The warranty on it expired, and the nokia support is ignoring me right not, they don't even bother answering me. At first they made me uninstall a ton of apps, then run the device on safe mode, then factory reset.... all on my time, and all just not to admit it's they device that has hw issues.

      So, as much as i was a fan of Nokia... Nokia just died! Don't buy it!

        Phone ended up being a disappointment after 16 months,the constant rebooting issue and lack of concern from Nokia after so many repeated cases.The service center suggests a replacement for the mother board.

My personal device is about a 20 months old now. Used it as the main smartphone for about a year. Still using it, but not heavy usage.

              According to Accubattery, my device is at 91% battery health. So still the battery is able to power any power hungry task without any problems. (MEANS MY DEVICE STILL WORKS LIKE A CHARM)

              But many complaints here are about random restarts which is most likely due to excessive wear of the battery.

              The difference between mine and these faulty devices might well be the lack of knowledge about Li-ion battery tech. YOU SHOULDN'T FULLY CHARGE OR DISCHARGE YOUR PHONE BATTERY on a daily basis.

After usage of 1.5 years now every time asking to reboot. Nokia care people say mother board has to be replaced and costing 80% of its price . So don't advice anybody to buy this set🙄.

They probably did not use a good eenough glue, or the case was not clean enough before they glued the new screen. If it is in a corner it is for sure not the battery doing this, when battery get swollen, your screen won't look to pretty either'

                    Ive had this phone for 2 years. It is not the indestructible nokia of before. I bought it when it first came out in 2017. Last year aug or sept 2018 the phone screen malfunctioned when it went under something heavy (a laptop table on my bed). the screen had no physical damage, but the image was just garbled. They replaced it for free because it was still under warranty. Just now the screen started to physically peel off the phone. You can see a 0.5 to 1mm gap on one side of the phone starting to pop out. You can squeeze the screen back in place but it still pops open after a while. Maybe it wasnt glued back together right when they replaced it last year. Maybe the battery is starting to bloat. im not really sure.

                    The phone is 100% functional. Its still fast. It has no other issues other than the screen is peeling off. My problem is with the build quality. i cant help but feel that its just a matter of time before it dies completely. For comparison, my 9 year old nokia n8 is still functional(tried it out today, plugged it in and it turned on, connected to the wifi took pictures and played music) It was slow as shit, and you couldnt really install apps on it but i used it for 7 years between 2010 and 2017. Very disappointed with the 2 years i got out of this thing.

                      I'm using this cellphone from last 2 years still Alhamdulillah no issue very suitable for heavy games like pubg and call of duty

At first it might be very awe... moreIt seems like you either are using a separate app for camera or are background apps running? Backgroud apps like FB causes heating and drains battery quite fast. But in my last 1.5 years of use haven't come across such an issue. working butter smooth. Water ingress can also cause such issues, but this should happen continuously if thats the case. Refrain from using the phone while charging as it is dangerous not just for NOKIA but for any smart phone.

                                Sani, 18 Sep 2019I have a issue with my nokia 8 device, when i open back cam... moreIt seems to be the OIS in the camera. I've noticed that if it does vibrate, shaking the phone helps (it stops vibrating after that, and OIS is then able to do its job correctly).

                                  Love this device. Had it 18 months and no issues at all. Buttery smooth. I love the fact there is no bloatware and it is running stock Android. Loads of grunt. The Nokia camera app is ok, but gcam takes awesome photos. Am currently using gcam 7.0 and the photos are fantastic.

                                    What did you do to your phone?
                                    Do make sure you're buying from authentic sellers. There are people that try to sell refurbished/repaired phones as a new phone.

Your probably have a bad battery... and most probably you never treated it well.
