I really love this phone, just does anything, without lag :). Only let down is battery and Ram, it would be perfect if I have 6gb ram and had more battery health.

Moseskk, 22 Jan 2023No I don't know copper pipe and I never heard it The phone sometimes may get battery related issues, mostly happening either because of the copper cooling pipe building up heat or the polymer of the Li-Po battery hardening with use. Hence why it restarts at some point. Fortunately, my phone doesn't show any issues so far.
The best thing you can do is replacing the battery that came with your phone. Check if it works and let me know 👍

AccuBattery shows my battery is around 65% health. A replacement battery will solve this problem. But I'm not sure where you can buy one in Uganda.

I also had Nokia 8 it's now 3 years but the problem is battery when I try to take pics the phone shuts down even the battery is full. What may be the problem if you have a solution please help me I'm a Ugandan thank you.

An excellent phone until the moment it was upgraded to Android 9. It no longer works well under Android 9. When I talk on the phone, the internet no longer works. The sound goes intermittently. The battery runs out very quickly. The phone shuts down when I open the camera or an application that uses the location if the battery is below 50%.

This fix is for all the people who are having following issues with this phone.
1. Your phone is restarting when you're using camera app or any other app.
2. Your phone is restarting when you have maximum brightness.
3. The speaker of the phone is producing crackling sound when the volume is at max.
4. Phone is continuously restarting and can't pass Android logo.
5. All the above problems are not happening when you're using it while charging.
The culprit of these issues is the fuse in the strip of the battery. The resistance of that fuse increases with time and your phone can't get the desired current it needs to run the device smoothly. Hence, the restart issue. PLK will be written on the damaged fuse. You just need to remove that fuse and use a jumper wire instead. ANDD your problem is FIXED!!
Do the above solution if your battery is not swell when you remove it from the phone or it was working fine before this issue. I have already replaced 3 batteries before I came to know about this fix. I was curious because all those batteries never swelled and was working absolutely fine before this issue suddenly arises with each battery after some time. Now, my phone is working absolutely fine. I Hope this fix will save you guys some bucks 👍

This is one of my best phones. I have been using it for 4 years and now I bought another phone just because I wanted a new phone, there is no objective reason for this :)
During all this time, it never broke down, did not fail, even though I do extreme sports and the phone often falls and happens in harsh weather conditions. Impeccable photo quality (thanks to German technology for high-quality lens polishing) and good 4K video, the battery shows excellent survivability, its performance has declined slightly over these 4 years (by 10 percent, I think). In general, I hate phones in cases, but this particular phone looks great in the original plastic case that protects it from damage.

I find this Nokia not user friendly as I can't unmute the phone as there is no button to press on the front screen when you find you have missed a call. I didn't have to dig into my old samsung to quickly remove mute. Taking photos is not that easy as I find I have to fiddle with settings before it wants to respond. Now I know why my daughter gave me this old phone
