Crad, 16 Mar 2019The only problem I have is the screen retention issue It's not an hardware issue.... Can be easily fixed with NIGHT SCREEN apps.... You have to run the apps all the time and just reduce the brightness to 85 to 90..

So yeah, you can turn dark mode on in every app that has such thing. Android pie has no dark mode in settings menu, but their is a pseudo dark mode that activates for the notifications panel, messages and contacts, and who knows in the future? As for android Q... As far as i know, android pie is the last system update for Nokia 8. But will receive security updates for another year. In my opinion, i would buy this device again, for the price even better. So, i would recomand it for the speed and quallity,

Hi. I'm planning to buy Nokia 8 but do you think it will be upgraded to Android Q? I care about it because of dark mode. I use a very old Android phone now, so I don't know how it works on Android Pie.
Am I going to be able to use dark mode for every application on Android Pie as effective as Android Q? Does Android Pie support the dark mode version of all applications in Google Play Store? How much difference do you think there will be between two OS version?

But it can be a bug ind that app or between the app and phone connection. By something like this, is really hard to tell without logs. In the same time, the problem.can be cause by somethin else. Stop usig that app for a while and see if it is truly the one responsible for the problems.

The north and south are reversed in my nokia 8 too and it started after the android pie update.. I tried speaking to the nokia support too about it, but they just give all lame responses... Am still waiting for the march security patch, and REALLY hoping they fix this shit coz am totally dependent on navigation and this north south reversal is just killin me..

I am using this Nokia 8 for 14 months now. Very happy that got 9 pai update. Only thing is improvement in camera is required. All the other things r perfectly fine
