    Classic design and great performance

      Carol, 08 Apr 2019We will probably receive it, if not straight the april one.... moreI'm beginning to think that HMD has forgotten about the Nokia 8. If they're Indeed busy with the Nokia 9 why have they updated the other Nokia phones (Nokia 7 plus and others) with the March security patch.

I have a fealing they are stressed with nokia 9 buggs. Even tough, a security update should not be a problem, maybe they pack some other bug fixes inside? I do not know.

                      Crad, 16 Mar 2019The only problem I have is the screen retention issue It's not an hardware issue.... Can be easily fixed with NIGHT SCREEN apps.... You have to run the apps all the time and just reduce the brightness to 85 to 90..

So yeah, you can turn dark mode on in every app that has such thing. Android pie has no dark mode in settings menu, but their is a pseudo dark mode that activates for the notifications panel, messages and contacts, and who knows in the future? As for android Q... As far as i know, android pie is the last system update for Nokia 8. But will receive security updates for another year. In my opinion, i would buy this device again, for the price even better. So, i would recomand it for the speed and quallity,

                                Hi. I'm planning to buy Nokia 8 but do you think it will be upgraded to Android Q? I care about it because of dark mode. I use a very old Android phone now, so I don't know how it works on Android Pie.

                                Am I going to be able to use dark mode for every application on Android Pie as effective as Android Q? Does Android Pie support the dark mode version of all applications in Google Play Store? How much difference do you think there will be between two OS version?
