negative comments by twits who do not understand technology are misleading, as an example the claim that the phone heath up , yes , while it fast charge, but them, then cool off when charged.
it is a beautiful well worth work companion. I did replace mine by a iPhone X , now , two weeks latter, I am quickly back to my Nokia 8 .

Using data will not allow casting, also, when tgeir is no tv or smart device in the same network, their will appear no button, this has nothing to do with nokia, this is how android oreo and youtube is builded. Grow up people! If you claim you have all of this, does your tv have a network? Is your tv actually smart? Is it's connection really working? Is it on?

After 2 months, camera stopped to work properly, and screen is freezing couple minutes during the typing, 2 or 3 times I reset to phone but problem is still continues, I took an advice from nokia care they said source of problem is oreo OS. Their suggestion is just wait for next big update :) I have latest smart phone which is not working 🤗

Don't get fooled by Nokia flagship android phones. Nokia flagship phones can't cast screen to your smart TV or any other devices if you don't have cast accessories. Even there is no cast option in YouTube application. I spoke to Nokia care centre people too, but no use

All Nokia fans please tell me how to cast YouTube in my smart TV, as there is no cast icon in YouTube app. And in connectivity there is no option to edit cast settings

Not heavy. Fast. Battery life great, fast charging. Hard to find accessories in Australia. ___________ camera is ok. Upgraded from xz Xperia which was heavy. Had drain on speed and battery due to modified is. Look for a good deal. Buy outright

Since i already own nokia 8 well, i am not in your situation:). First thing first: What are your needs? Nokia 8 has a smaller screen but is wider (i like wider). Nokia 8 has better cpu, 7+ overall looks just better, designwise. As battery, 7+ might last longer, but nokia 8 does not dissapoint at all. Money? Nokia 8 might be more expensive, but at the end, has more power. And this small baby is a fast device. So, now if i would want to chosse between them, i would still go for nokia 8 just cause of power. In rest, if i would have tought about money design and camera app:). Then i would have choose 7+ for sure.

All Nokia Fans Warning : Every Body needs battery backup but in that case Nokia 8 was worst with in 3.30 hours battery from 100% to 0% Previously we use to buy Nokia for battery. At present Worst mobiles from Nokia in Android I am suffering from I have purchased on 4.01.2018 from 5.01.18 almost 20 days my phone is in Nokia care but still the same problem continues. Please spread this message to all who are planning to buy Nokia phones seriously telling after purchasing phone you will suffer like me. You can just imagine that in the 1st month almost 20 days mobile in Service center
So please don’t buy Nokia 8 Price is also too high
It’s better to buy Motorolo Mobiles battery backup is supperb & outstanding performance

I am not decided should I buy Nokia 8 or Nokia 7 plus? I think Nokia 8 have better screen and performance, supports screen-always-on technology and supports IP54 water-splash. Nokia 8's front camera has better resolution which is 2160p. But Nokia 7 plus has better back cameras and it has larger screen-to-body ratio. It looks very amazing. Hope someone will give me advises, thanks!
