Bought it 2 months ago and overal is way too good for the price.
+ Very good performance. No lag at all if u got the settings right (see negatives below).
+ Good heat controlling. There is no hot spot with heavy gaming or fast charging.
+ Very very good screen. It might be a little litle bit blue tinted at first but after months of use or after the Oreo update, not sure why, it's quite perfect now. Great color reproduce, angle, sharpness...
+ Feel sturdy and high level of build quality.
Now the downside:
- Not so good rear cameras, or atleas not as expected. Slow focus compared to flagship phones of apple or samsung.
- The glance is pretty annoying because it can make the phone laggy sometimes. I tested and found out that when u r charging, the glance process will run at background and makes the phone laggy, it's easy to be seen if u type messages while charging, the touch screen response is much slower. Or when u lock the phone and unlock right after that, the glance process makes it even worse. And when u turn on glance, it will stay on all the time while charging, so it degrades ur screen so fast. Turn it off solves all those things.
- The screen size is a bit small. 5.5 would be perfect.
- The polished blue back is way too easy to be scratched. Get the tempered blue one.

The price is not high at all, you can get this phone for 499 average and if you look good, you can get it for less. It was priced 399 euro some weeks ago for sale. Flagship phone for a price you cant find other flagship phones for, from big name brands it is. Nokia is quality.

I bought the Nokia 8 a week ago , it is super fluid and no lag at all . I was a big fan of samsung but not anymore due to the touchwiz lagging and all my samsung that I had ( S2 , S3 , S3 , S4 , S5 , S6 and my last S7 ) had a burn-in issue ( image ghosting ) .
this Nokia 8 I have is a perfect phone in all aspects and I can provide a picture of the phone in my hand which means that my testimony is real not like the others

Anonymous, 21 Dec 2017Even the 250 price tag is high. It should be around 150.SHUT UP! It doesn't deserve the 1 to 1 manufacturing price. Nokia deserved it well with their $500 - $550 flagship. They deserve the profit. Besides, it's as cheap as the Essential PH-1 and they're just as good as the expensive ones.
