AnonD-456422, 20 Dec 2017Its price is ridiculously high When there are so many comp... moreyou don't pay only for good specifications. do you think s8 or pixel 2 is so great? it is great, until you experience burn-in screen.

if you only want to pay for good specification, there are abundant phones that you can choose. but the question is how good the update support?

Bought one last saturday. Indeed for 399,00 euro.
Very happy with it. After first power up the phone immediately updated to Android Oreo and got the december update from Google too.
Fast user experience, decent camera (perfect in well lit conditions, very reasonable in lower-light), 2nd SIM slot, 64GB of storage and a good working fingerprint sensor.
Oh, and it looks pretty cool also.

Honestly, this is a great phone and for 399,00 it's a steal!!

No, the Android 8 update is still not available in the UK, 3 weeks after the promised 2-day rollout. Contact with the pathetic customer services yielded nothing but the repeat of the "phased rollout" BS mantra, and trying to put the blame on the carrier, who have not sold the phone (bought unlocked) and have nothing to do with the update process. Probably Nokia, sorry...HMD, don't have the necessary infrastructure for a proper update seeding. So, they update a couple of handsets, get website like this to say it is upgradable, and then try to sell more of the good hardware which they won't support. Sorry, but best avoided. Nokia is definitely NOT back. This is not a reincarnation of the legendary Nokia, but someone using its ghost like a puppet.

Hello, 16 Dec 2017Excuse me sir. Iam sure you are talking without knowledge.... moreI didn't said it's not durable. I said it seriously lacks features. Which are 2 different categories.

Compare it with S8 for example, not only it has features like wireless charging, but it's also waterproof, unlike Nokia... so IT DOES LAG BEHIND COMPETITION!

Durable hardware is nice, but laso isn't everything, also it isn't so durable if it isn't waterproof...

Hello, 16 Dec 2017Excuse me sir. Iam sure you are talking without knowledge.... moreDo you know how to read? He was saying that performance is worst and nothing about built quality... Had 2 nokias with MS and as prototypes/beta phones they are fine, but they never came back from that stage (no apps, prices for Hardware and performance was on the bad side). Nokia were sold and it's not brand from nineties. They have to bring that name from 0..
And yeah, I don't care how insides are build as a consumer. I need a phone that would work with no lags.

it is a wonderful device - hardware and software is very good - no battery heating - but screen is scratch-able, you should buy screen protector and back cover too.

Hello, 16 Dec 2017Excuse me sir. Iam sure you are talking without knowledge.... moreWell let's compare it to S8 for example... that's what I mean by saying it lacks in terms of hardware. I didn't say it's not durable, but I did said it's behind in some other specs...

00096000, 15 Dec 2017Also because is more than pointless to have 2 or 4k display... moreHave you tried looking at a 1080p phone screen and compared it with Nokia 8?
4K might not be a huge difference, but 1080 and 2K is.Especially for gamers.

TheLostWanderer, 10 Dec 2017Good phone. Not really my taste, but good phone. Microsoft ... moreExcuse me sir. Iam sure you are talking without knowledge. Nokia if you do not know is considered by maintenance and durability men and youtubers to the be the most durable phone. You can watch Jerry rig phones to see how organized and well engineered the phone is by the designers inside the phone. And regarding out side it uses very good materials.

I think the ppi count is overrated, and like Huawei did with the Mate 10 pro to not put a 2k display in their device is a fair move, the display still looks sharp af. I really like the Nokia 8 IPS LCD display, it’s gorgeous. The phone itself is amazing.

I love Nokia. It is one of the best companies especially in manufacturing the well built phones.
It will return strongly and I love the idea of its using the stock Android system.
