Boy75, 28 Apr 2013Hi im new to nokia 808 . Can anyone tell me what wonders ca... moreWonders? None. But these features which i use often are wonderful:
-great cam and video with geotagging, no need for other camera ever,
-usb otg, transfer files directly to memory stick via a short wire adapter,
-fm transmitter, listen to my music gallery in the car radio, no need for music discs ever,
-superior offline voice navigation and mapping experience, no need for tomtom or garmin ever,
-look in details your sorroundings by Nokia City Lens, no need to ask people for the address of a bar or drugstore or whatever,
-transfer files between handset and pc wirelessly by DuktoR or bluetooth,
-use it as a hotspot by Joikuspot,
other features:
internet and fm radio,
optimal video playing with subtitles, lots of formats,
very good online streaming,
data usage control widget app,
panorama photo shooting,
good number of hd games and apps including nfc ones,
integrated social apps,
lots of customizing and still simpler and more user friendly than androids,
the default browser is a bit slow, but Opera mini excels it.

That will be great news if it is true...but it's fake :D
Nokia + Android + Wp OS
will be great combination and we will see true android devices

Given the pureview technology available on Lagdroid and Symbian, I will still go with Symbian any day and not the lagroid.
Yes if its available on Windows phone 8 then I will for sure go with Windows phone 8 but no ways on lagroid.
Remember Nokia users are some serious users who know the technology and its uses and know whats being offered(Or not offered) by LAGROID.

[deleted post]That would be BAD news... Anyways, android is no match for that phone. They just don't pass together. Android is ugly and unpolished (looks like a messy chamber)and lumia`s design is a master piece.

3. - maybe this camera technology will be available on WP8 although I really doubt it, at least not too soon...so if you love so much lagdroid and 808 camera you have 2 choices , one is wait until it happens:) and seconf, buy an 808 and a little lagdroid

But it is their agreement with MS that has made Nokia droped all of their smartphone platforms, except S40 JAVA based OS for Asha's feature phones.
By the time the Nokia-MS agreemen end, Let's hope that Nokia will learn from their mistakes all these times, and therefore will revive and further develop Symbian and other platforms.
Along with WP, Nokia is actually capable of running on multi platforms, giving more choices to their costumers, and making alot of profit like they used to be. It's up to Nokia.

For those who like the 808 because of the camera, but hesitate to buy it because think that Symbian is dead and doesn't have many games and apps,.....
Notice this list of games for Symbian:

I've played most of them till finished, a few only partially, all perform great.

Skype doesn't support video calls on Symbian belle fb2 so 808 can't do video calls via Skype but It can do free video calls via fring ")

As far as Nokia market strategy goes this days, they want us to switch to lumia's. So keeping updating symbian with new ui and so on, will not be verry wise for there lumia sales. So i don't think we will se another major ui upgrade. There will be small upgrades or bug fixes in the system, as they already prooved they did, but i don't think there will be another symbian system release.
