finally got this..
This is a fun way to unlock your phone. It works great and it doesn't slow the system.. Bubbles locked screen is yet the best so far i've seen in a smartphone. Just set the date on 22-12-2011 or 2010 and you'll be able to install the software but you have to have internet connection during installation.. Install it on your c: drive and restart the phone after. Asks if you have questions. Btw you'll get certificate error if you don't change the date on your phone during installation. :))

Hello all, I´ve used the 808 for several month now. Actually more than 7 month. Its the best Nokia I ever had. Its not a mini computer like the others with some telephone functions. Its a very good telephone with essential fucntions as excellent camera, navigation, good sound, now a stable OS, easy to set up, easy to write SMS etc., acceptable battery life,now better internet access, no virus attacks, rigid design. The camera is a essential feature for me. I use it every day. My working style requires this and I don´t want to carry 2 devices with me. The same importance has the navigation. Very often I travel abroad and have to guide the taxi driver. For gaming I use my Ipod touch 5. Its very light and powerfull and I can use it during a flight. The 808 price is low now. So if somebody needs a good telephone with some excellent addtional features and not a handheld gaming device should buy this one. I would buy it again.

I had the 808 for a month, at first I tried to sell it and go back to Blackberry, but after four weeks I can say that I am almost in love with this phone, its battery and its weight is the difference between almost and completely
Pros
Great camera, great video, great sound, enough applications, dropbox (cutebox), office enviroment
Cons
Battery (at four pm is asking for help)
Heavy
you need some time to get used to it

Well guys i thin it is the right moment to buy this device now, it is available for 16K Indian rupees , have ordered mine, may arrive tomorrow, feeling excited to go back to symbian specially after leaving N8 2yrs back. N8 camera was a boon and felt very sad to go to other 3 mobile devices as none could compete or even close to n* imaging, let us hope 808 lives upto its name..
sachit.

AnonD-46089, 25 Apr 2013According to the specifications both Nokia 808 and x7 have ... moreIt's not true. I think you misunderstood the phone dimensions here. Both 808 and X7 have exactly the same screen size, which is 4 inches in diameter. The diffrence is in the body dimensions of the phones:
X7 looks slightly wider because:
width = 62.8 mm
Length = 119.7 mm
But 808 looks slightly taller because:
Length = 123.9 mm
Width = 60.2 mm

Looks like the bug is fixed. I'm over 30 hours and absolutely no issues on my 808. Very happy 808 owner. May get a spare before this beauty is no longer made.

According to the specifications both Nokia 808 and x7 have 4 inch screen. My brother has x7. It's screen is fairly large. I didn't see 808. But as per the images of the both phones, I guess 808's screen is smaller than x7. I mean 808's screen is narrower than x7. Is this true? Please any one respond to my question. I'm very eager to buy 808 if only it's screen is not narrower than x7.
