Or you think that bashing this device will bring you a new one (without factory defects)? Or just do a firmware flashing and see what happens. Do research, do some learning. Cause it's kind of stu*id to talk nonsense, don't you think? Just saying;).

and it work! facebook work, email work, weather, software update work....
which have internet connection previously...
i check different is...iphone use 802.11g instead of my wifi router use 802.11n...that all.
I have no idea, after that all connection use my router and 3g is able to work....
the fact is, there is internet connection bug, maybe not encounter by all user may due to different fw rom, and maybe due to my different usage trigger this bug. I remember i start using this phone without sim card, i try connect to social facebook, there is message show that I need sim card to use this app. after I install sim card, I not able to connect certain app mention above anymore, only recover after I connect to iphone wifi hotspot this morning.

Instead of insulting everyone else here and expecting to get your phone fixed by only a comment you might try handing yours to someone who knows better than you how to make it work. It's unbelieveble how people expect from a comment section to get ALL their problems fixed. Tell you what, get a hammer, smash your phone and in the next comment(you won't get any from me) you'll get a solution how to make it look like brand new...

I always log in to my facebook everytime i'm connected to wifi or mobile 3g... I even have a lot of facebook apps and none of which give me trouble in logging in!!! Lol
sharing photos with this phone is incredibly fast and the quality is amazing something that users can be proud of...

peter, 19 Apr 2013yes, I have this phone, all problem i mention is real, i ... moreyes, I knew about that 3Gbug when I bought mine, I knew that it was possible to get one that had it, I also printed that suggestion from Nokia to show the guys at the care center:), but until now there is no problem, who knows...take it to them if you still got the warranty, it's not a problem that could be solved by just simply doing a factory reset or flashing it and also comparing 808 with other phones won't solve this problem either or since you have so many phones keep it just for photos:)...

guys for those who wants to use alphanumeric keypad for this phone, just click the link above.
you can find also an application through nokia store to use the front camera. just type in search box 'front camera' or simply 'front'.
mine is also working properly. i dont have any problem. its working very very fine. i really love this phone. theres no more stock here in philippines so that i find way just to get this superb phone, until i found someone selling this through internet and i'd rather say that im lucky to find and bought this. :-)

this never happen, my wifi and 3g work fine on my htc legend, iphone 4s, ipad 2, sony xperia play and my laptop....
no idea.....shame on nokia..
if you search for wifi and access point issue,there is known bug discuss at nokia forum.

I've never heard such nonsense from other users, it works just fine, if yours is broken, take it to a Nokia Care, but don't come here crying about how wonderful are 2 OSes that are far, far from perfection, they in fact just copyed symbian and added lots of apps - WOW. Symbian isn't perfect either, but if you would have purchased one you would have known that receiving the latest apps or games wasn't its strength, other than that, I can assure you that works smoother and you can do much many things with it than most of the droids or crapple...

i cant even log in to facebook,
my 3g and wifi is good, work very well on my htc and iphone.
but when using nokia....i not even can sign in facebook, after loding, then show no network connection...i fact i able to online uses web....wtf with this OS...

-wifi always disconnected and not aut... moreI'm using WIFI all day long now and my internet provider has a good signal, no problem at all.
It is likely that your internet provider has a weak signal or has a wireless disturbances when you're using it(if this is the case, all phones regardles of brands and types will face the same problem as yours).

Anyways, i am o my phone so i cannot give you links (i'm lazy:))), but i will try to give you some clues about this.First of all, backup only your very important data (contacts, messages, notes, no apps, no settings) with nokia suite. Now do a factory reset: dial *#7370# and follow the guide. Your phone will restart and will format your c drive and your mass mem. This process can take a long time so do't panic. After this you will need to search google for: flash nokia 808 with phoenix. You will come accross 808fanclub or something. There you can find a guide on how to flash your origial or custom firmware. This guide is for both of them (so is the same procedure). No worries. If you want a deep format before the firmware reinstall you will need to google for: hard format/reset nokia 808 three buttons method. Be careful, this kind of format will erase everything in your c drive. And you will loose all your default apps. And the only worthy/good/ortodox way to recover them in a factory state, is to flash it with phoenix. Sorry i can not bring you links. Hope you can find them. Happy flashing:).
