this phone have bug,
-wifi always disconnected and not auto connect when detected like iphone.
-i not able to update/install software from phone thru wifi, able to install related software use computer.
input method/virtual keypad also very bad if compare to iphone. not very user friendly and difficult to use.

My 808 didn't seems to... moreYou can reinstall the software using Nokia Suite,with or without hard reset, it will simply fix the errors and you will keep the apps you have now. Just the phone settings will go so you will have to enter them again. When you go to the "software update" function you will see some text where it will also say "you can also reinstall the software" and it will download the software directly from Nokia and install it, last version. I hope this works for you, it saved my N8 once. ;-)

hey friends can you help me.....
My 808 didn't seems to work perfectly,i m a little bit rough user bcs i can copy and paste sevral movies in it and install many applications and games day by day so i think there will be lot of junk in it so that it will lags i hv sevral account configured on it so it will 24*7 connect online.
So my problem is that first of all 1.it littel bit laggy 2. it screen is always on after i lock the phone 3.some apps didn't intialize after tapped on 4.I can't play online streaming of live videos which i can do previously 5. Sometimes it automatically disconnect the call on progress.
So i want to clean install the fp2 again so my concern is what to do to clean its inbuilt c memory of the phone and in my lappy a previous fp2 file is present when i updated it previously and every time i want to fetch the new one it installed the previous one so can ann one help on that issue bcs nokia care person in my locality are dumb they just wasted my time and problem is presist.thanks in advance...

It supports almost all games including Real Racing 3..As a camera guy i really need a portable partner of my Canon 600D..and i love the optics. lossless zoom of the 808....Dolby headphone is a bonus for me...yes its bulkey..but not not bulkier than my 600D :D

I'm ex. Lumia 800 user and I know pretty well about WP OS
1- If you are seeking for support and light design with great apps and best social experience...go for lumia 720 don't forget that all the good games will not be supported (dark night batman's game loft-temple run-real football-amazing spider man-asphalt 7and so on) due to 512mb of rams.
2-1-If you can live with decent apps, games and themes and have good social integration but the multimedia and camera is your first purpose...so this phone 808 pureview a must have phone and don't waste time here go and get it immediately

pureview is cheaper here. cost $299. almost inr 16500. Lumia 720 cost $340. almost inr 18800 in india

first of all thank you for reply, :) yes it is an "unknown" certificate to be accepted "this time" or "always" or "cancel" from r.twimg.com (dont know what it is), when i open in particular 2 sites www.meteo.gr and www.sportfm.gr. it doesnt happen in other cases (for the moment)e.g. www.gsmarena.com.
(apologize for replying so late, i was for 10 days out of the office and out of Athens but from N8 i saw your post. I'm a geologist by profession and often happens to be in the countryside (mountains, rivers etc...)where it is not easy always to find free wifi and is not confortable for browsing,

AnonD-96039, 15 Apr 2013hmp. Im using nokia 701 which also get the fp2 update. Well... moreyeah but we're using nokia 808 and feature pack 2 is highly recommended cause it enhanced the phone a lot.. It is important and who knows there might be some more important updates for our phone so it is better to be keep updated. I haven't tried 701 and i haven't seen it yet in person; i don't know what fp2 you have but this is nokia 808 page.. :)
