It is expensive and i could have bought it if it is not because of it's ugly design that i chose c7... There's no other os or type of phones that compete n8 among nokia's lineup of phones during it's released; and there were a lot of posters showcasing n8 was supreme together with e7 and c7..
Nokia did not make an effort to promote it because they are too focused with windows phones and ashas! Don't you get it..? Because of windows phones and ashas.. and what do you mean because of pricing that makes n8 more popular?? Be more specific! Phones are over priced or expensive in their 1st released just like n8 2 years ago.. A lot of network/carriers do not include 808 in their plans and it's not like that before when n8 was released.. The availability of 808 is very limited AGAIN because of the presence of windows phones and ashas! Nokia is showcasing now the windows phones and their low priced ashas.! 808 is far more ignored though it is superior in terms of hardware and software with belle feature pack 2.. I don't care whether it's popular or not.. it is one of a kind and i'm so happy to have it.. ! Now, tell what makes n8 more popular and be more specific my friend.. :)

hi guys i just downloaded sCam app then i found this app can take photos with 41.5 MP not only 38 or 34 and u can use front facing camera with it too very nice app use it

this camera has serious redeye problem, even u select different flash that claims to remove red eye. but it just doesn't work...
Is anybody else have this issue & know how to overcome this problem...

Why?It is because there's a lot of nokia n8 users and it is one of nokia's bestsellers.. 808 is more powerful than n8 with 1.3 GH processor, nokia clearblack display, 41 megapixel sensor, and nfc, etc.. but nokia did not make an effort to promote it; they are too focused with windows phones now. It's sad that despite it's greatness, it is neglected.. Until now some people in nokia stores did not know that this phone exists.. Even though, I feel lucky to have it and i will use it for many years to come. It is a must keep phone..
I am planning to have both windows 8 nokia lumia 920 and this phone and i'm fine.. :)

Symbian with that kind of specs you are talking about would have been and icrapp os or copydroid killer. It is just smooth the way it is. The only thing Symbian is behind the other from the market... is the browser which is not the best out there. NUT QUITE ENOUGH FOR A MOBILE PHONE. But... with a dual core, would have erase that quad-core makeup kit from the face of the earth. To bad, Nokia planned to ditch Symbian and push windows into market. Those specs would not have been a great idea, specially with a 41 megapixel camera. A MASS KILLER. THAT WOULD THIS BEAUTY HAVE BEEN!

Best signal you find, strong battery, fm transmitter, usb on the go, 41 mp camera, symbian belle, very good build quality. It is Nokia, so it´s not a surprise! Tell me what you want more:)

Symbian OS is really amazing,very simple,very stable and you get every thing from it.I wish Nokia keep to Symbian for ever
But I don`t know why Nokia is very preservative in specifications of Symbian phones.the highest symbian phone has 360x640 screen,4" and 1.3 GH processor.imagine the n 808 has HD screen 4.5" , 1.5 dual core processor or more and double battary capacity,wouldn`t it be the perfect phone ever(although it is already amazing)

I sugest you to do the steps i toled you to do, yes, you will lose everythin you have installed, but nokia store has the list of them all. Enter in 'my stuff' (the head near the search button) then all downloads, there you heave all your downloads. If i were you, my phone would have been already formatted and half of apps already installed, if not all. :).
