There r some common questions abt 808pv..like ppl say why this phn have a singe core processor,512ram,bla bla! The thing is that 1.3ghz single core procesor,512mb ram is enough 4 running belle smoothly.. If u guys prefer anroid then go 4 anroid! Dnt make any stupid comments abt nokia.. Nokia always rocks.... Im gonna buy this phone..but its not available here in Bangladesh...

This is a great phone.
What's wrong with this is, its stuck in symbian.
Hope they write a Windows 8 OS upgrade for this.
Such upgrade is worth it even for an extra cost.

i got my 808 red color,
and in first day of use i already updated it to bell Feature Pack 2, don't know if it was a coincidence or if it was available before but hey ,nice wellcome surprise 113.010.1506

Hi...i need brilliant suggestions of what suitable model of nokia to use nowdays:
what i need :
1. basic phonecall (can loudspeaker),sms,
2. video call / 3G optional 4G
3. wifi
4. GPS
5. Good Camera (1st & 2ndary)
6. Bluetooth
7. Games (optional)
8. Radio (optional)
i'm using nokia for 12 years start in year 2000 (3210 model).
and now i'm using 3230 about 7 years already since 2005 till now.
The phone is in functional shape now (still using),
only replace battery and screen.
Dropdown resistance since more than 5x drop on the floor.. :)
Reason to change because no wifi/WLAN and video call..
Hopefully someone here can help me choose the new phone..TQ

do not buy nokia. the things I lived with my nokia 808 is too long to talk about here is, but listen to me and dont buy. their PR sucks. if anything goes wrong about your phone you will wish not to buy a nokia phone. + belle realy dont worth using it. it feels too old comparing to android or IOS. in my situation nokia decided to replace my phone but except the backcover. can you believe it. they say backcover is kind of accessorie to them so instead of replacing with the boxed one they only replace it with the new phone without its backcover. I told them accessorie is something that you use it if you want to. but you cant use a phone without its backcover. but they didnt listened. how much does it cost to nokia for a plastic piece of backcover? 1 dolar or what? how can you name this attitude you decide. so I decidec to sue them. last words; do not ever buy nokia. its a company going deep. I now understand.

a have a Nokia 808 on my free time and a SGS3 on work.I prefer the 808 if I only can have one phone.the picture quality is so stunning with the 808 and it is fast.screen is really ok.SGS3 is to big for me and not that impressed with the screen and it many times freezes.personally i prefer SGS2 with gingerbread over my new SGS3.About the 808 its all About the camera.true.and have all the apps I need.maps.games.facebook.videocalling with Fring and all other tools need on my spare time .This is the best camera phone out there.not even Lumia 920 has 41mpix sensor.and the price has dropped moore than 25% in my country and now you can buy it in many stores.was sold out all the times the first 3 months.I simply love this camera phone.

I suggest you that never ever buy a nokia phone. I purchased a pureview 808 and it has a problem with its screen glass. I returned it 15 days later. Now its 2 months and they say "we'll change your phone with the new one except its backcover." can you believe it. I wanted them to gibe me a brand new boxed unit and they now say they will replace it with the new unit except its backcover. Their explanation for this is that backcover is kind of accessorie. F..k you nokia. Accessorie means if you want to use it you use it, if you dont want to than you dont have to... How can someone use its phone without a backcover, exposing the battery. What is your IQ nokia. I just bought the phone for its camera and didnt expect much on symbian belle, which I found disgusting as I used it. Finally, what I am trying to say is nokia is going down, and the things Ive lived with nokia showed me that they will go deeper and go deeper faster. Dont buy nokia period.

Also, the display has more ppi than iPhone 3GS and nobody complained about that one. Plus, this one has best sunlight legibility of them all which is more important for outdoor use.

it seems pureview is very durable as it stood against the harsh cold of exiting the earth's atmosphere, it was still able to capture a photo!
